I love Egypt, and this time I discovered a new treasure - Marsa Alam!

I have long been in love with Egypt - for its incredible Red Sea, fascinating underwater world, and corals that look like they are from another planet. Usually my choice is Sharm el-Sheikh, but this time everything was different.

On the recommendation of Stanislav from the travel agency, my friend and I decided to go to Marsa Alam, to the Shoni Bay Resort hotel (4?) from 24.07 to 07.08. Honestly? For the first time, I did not read any reviews before the trip - I just trusted a professional. And you know what? It was one of the best decisions - the hotel exceeded all our expectations!

The Shoni Bay Resort hotel itself is compact, cozy and very pleasant

It is small, but clean, well-groomed and very cozy. The staff is polite, smiling and always ready to help. For Egypt - this is a pleasant surprise!

Among the guests - mostly Italians, the atmosphere is calm and European. And what is important for me personally - not a single tourist from Russia. This was a real bonus and allowed me to relax a little morally - without reminders of the war.

Registration and check-in:

quickly, clearly, without any delay - perfect service.

Room: spacious, clean, almost everything - new.

Daily cleaning, fresh towels, and what is important - unlimited water in the room, as much as you ask for - without any problems.

the hotel does not have a huge territory, but everything is thought out and compact. There are two pools - always clean, conveniently located.

The sea - love at first sight

The entrance to the sea is comfortable, right from the beach. The water is crystal clear, and the underwater world is just a fairy tale. Corals, fish, living creatures - a real aquarium right under your feet. Snorkeling here is a real pleasure.

Food, a huge selection: from a diet menu (everything steamed) to classic Egyptian and international dishes.

Everything is fresh, tasty, even for picky stomachs there will be something to choose from.

Wine: tasty, light, pleasant. And also - for $ 1 you can enjoy it as much as your heart desires.

Since the gym was temporarily closed - why not organize a wine detox

There are a few points worth knowing:

- There is almost no infrastructure outside the hotel, so the place is not very suitable for walks "outside the territory". But we went specifically for the sea and relaxation, so for us it was not a problem.

- It is better to buy the Internet right at the airport - a local SIM card will provide a stable connection and save your nerves.

To summarize:

If you are looking for a clean sea, friendly staff, delicious cuisine and peace without Russian tourists - Shoni Bay Resort in Marsa Alam is worth your attention. We were very pleased with our vacation!
