In order to make it more clear our opinion about the trip 04.11.11-05.11.11 Meshchera-Spas-Klepiki-Gus-Zhelezny-Kasimov, please read the review about the excursion “Island of the Soul on the Volga” from the Travel Shop from 09/01/11, which we visited 26.08.11-28.08.11 (www.firms.turizm.ru ), because on the Mag website. Put. negative reviews are removed. This time we decided to try our luck and booked a tour from Slavyanka. Several times we booked tours from this company, but a couple of days before the trip we were informed that for one reason or another it was canceled. This time we were lucky - the tour was not canceled! If you can call it luck! Our journey began from Sakharov Avenue. Finding our “miracle minibus” among large and comfortable buses was not difficult! We squeezed into our seats, rammed into chairs, did the splits (because it was impossible to place our legs in a different way) and set off!

The guide Marina Vladimirovna tediously and monotonously for 6 hours led a story about everything that was in her head up to the museum of wooden architecture in Meshchera. A very interesting and informative museum, considering that all the exhibits in it were made by children. The territory is very seedy, consisting of several wooden sculptures. Actually, because of this museum, we went on this excursion, but were pretty disappointed with the meager spectacle. Further, our path ran to Spas-Klepiki, where we visited the museum of S. Yesenin. The touching guide gave a great tour there and read the poems of the poet. The conclusion of the excursion program of the first day was a trip to Gus-Zhelezny. There we examined the church and moved to Kasimov to check into the Stagecoach hotel. A chic hotel for such a city with friendly staff and excellent food.

On the second day of our tour there was a sightseeing tour of the city, the museum of local lore and the museum of Kasimov samovars. On this, our tour for two days for 5800 was completed. So we want to ask the Slavyanka company: what is such utter money taken for, corresponding to 1/3 of the monthly salary? For a bus? (in which you can safely get from the metro to the house in half, but not for such long distances). For the unkempt corners of Russian nature? For a disorganized and indifferent tour guide? For what? Once a year, of course, you can give this money for a trip, but if you travel often, then this significantly hits your pocket! We agree if there was a comfortable bus where you could relax and enjoy the views from the window. Or a delightful guide's story, which one could listen to and learn a lot of new things for oneself.

Bring to mind sightseeing tours, select guides who love and know their job, who can rally the group, plan programs for normal prices and maximum pleasure. Maybe then the moderators on the sites will have less work, there will be no need to remove negative reviews, because. there will be fewer of them, and eventually there will be none at all! And there will be much more people on tours in Russia! After all, we have something to see, you just need to be able to organize and teach!!!
