Thanks to the tour operator Soleans Travel (St. Petersburg) for a superbly organized trip to Southeast Asia. The trip was in late January - early February 2013. In 13 days we visited 4 countries: Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) - Cambodia (Siem Reap-Angkor) - Myanmar (Burma) (Yangon-Bagan-Inle Lake) - Thailand (Bangkok). Since my husband and I are people of retirement age, we decided not to risk it and used the services of the Soleans Travel tour operator, which we never regretted. The tour was private. When compiling the route, we were offered the most economical options for air travel (since the Soleans Service transportation agency is in charge of booking tickets), and all wishes regarding hotels were taken into account. Excursions took place on cars, Russian-speaking guides met us at the airports and accompanied us throughout our stay in the country.
Many thanks to the Soleans travel agency, which, in a difficult (one might say critical) situation, promptly helped to resolve all issues. The fact is that when we were in Cambodia, the host tour operator reported that the Siem Reap-Yangon flight, which was scheduled for the next day, was canceled by Myanmar lines, and the next one would be only a week later. At first there was a shock, as the entire route collapsed. Then we contacted Soleans tour operator and told about our problem. A few hours later we were called back and informed that the tickets had been rebooked for a flight via Bangkok, and also informed the host tour operators in Cambodia and Myanmar about the new departure and arrival times. At the same time, we arrived in Yangon only a few hours later, where a guide was waiting for us, who had already been notified of the new arrival time. Thanks to Sergey, who was in charge of booking tickets for all flights (there were 11 in total!
), as well as to the director of the agency on Novgorodskaya 26. By the way, the cost of the entire tour turned out to be even cheaper than we expected. Next time we will use only this tour operator!
