Problems on the bus tour

My last trip with "Turtrans Voyage" did not start very well. When booking a tour in Germany-Poland, there were good seats on the bus, but they refused to book these seats, citing the fact that they are for couples, and I am alone. So I ended up on the last row with the aunts, who constantly chewed something on the move, washed down with beer, and even rude for any reason. And those places that I was denied booking were still taken by singles, although they booked places later than me.

The drivers were also rude. I had little contact with them and didn't worry too much about it, especially since by the end of the tour the guys had settled down. And the reason for the publication is the following.

During the trip, all movements and stops of the bus are recorded by a tachograph on a paper disc - “puck”.

This is due to the safety of passengers, for example, the “settling” of the bus must be at least 9 hours, during which time the drivers must rest enough for a further safe flight with people. The tachograph entries can be checked by the police at any time, so the requirements are met on the tour. But when returning, the group arrived in Brest by midnight, went to wash the bus, then the group was dropped off at the Brest railway station at 2 a.m., and by 6 a.m. the same pair of drivers had to pick up a new group. Thus, the drivers had 4 hours to rest and they could not get enough sleep. Obviously, the “washer” of the tachograph is changed between flights and they go on a new flight with a new “washer”, otherwise there will be trouble with the police, but between trips the requirements for a proper rest regimen for drivers are not observed, the old “washer”, where the violation was recorded, is removed and … “free with a clear conscience!
