Travel agency: (St. Petersburg) Service type: оформление визы |
Two years ago, I turned to this company in order to get a visa for myself. I needed to fly to France, an employee told me that French visas are very bad, especially for young Russian girls, since there is a rumor in France that Russian girls fly there for fictitious marriages, and advised me to get a Finnish visa. I said that I would have to stay in France for 3 months in connection with the treatment and asked if I would have problems with the Finns if I did not cross their border? In response, I received: "No, everything will be in order, just do another Schengen later and that's it." I didn’t have any experience with visas at the time and eventually agreed, confident that a professional was sitting in front of me.
I flew to France for treatment, as planned, returned to Russia, and did not leave it for two years.
By the way, also, the employee did not warn me that there is a certain concept, like the "Schengen calendar", according to which it is necessary to calculate days abroad, I assume that she herself simply did not know about it.
And so, two years pass, I again go to the same travel agency, I plan to get a Latvian visa, because I wanted to rest there for two weeks, and as I wrote earlier, I am going confident and assured by the words of the employee that everything will be in order. I also told the employee that, in addition to Latvia, I plan to visit France again for a couple of days, since I liked it there last time. The employee said that in this case it is necessary to make a Latvian visa for sure, everyone will refuse a French visa for the same reason (I am not married), and again: "Don't worry, everything will be in order, Latvia gives its visas easily, problems will not". Well, I agree, I give the money (7,500 rubles.
), they will include insurance for me there, I say that I have insurance from my employer, asked to deduct it from the cost of the visa, she said that this is impossible! Later, of course, I will find out that this is possible!
I gave them my passport for 2 weeks, a couple of days later, as I understand it, the consul of Latvia calls me and yells at me into the phone, saying why I was in France for 3 months according to the Schengen of another country, and why didn’t I cross the border? I tried to explain to her that I was undergoing treatment, but the consul did not even want to listen to me. I contact the travel agent, explain the situation, clarify whether everything will be in order, they say so and so, the girl said that everything will be fine, and can you, on the part of the travel agent, influence this situation, and possibly return the money? I was told that they do not return the money, they cannot help in the situation, as if it is your own fault!
As a result, Latvia gave me a visa for 1 month!
As you understand, my planned vacation was covered with a copper basin, the tickets that I have already bought, and which are non-refundable, you can simply throw away, and you understand how much tickets cost now!
Great, just great! Thank you very much! But I consulted with the employees, I was sure that they were professionals, that they knew what they were talking about, but NO! In this agency sit people who own information 10 years ago! Who are absolutely incompetent in properly advising people! Only when I independently took up visa issues and studied these points thoroughly, I learned that, judging by the statistics for 2015, France positioned itself as a country that often refuses visas, but already in 2016, the French Secretary of State for Foreign Trade said that the percentage of refusals was reduced to 1%, and noted that the country's Foreign Ministry is generally interested in the abolition of the visa regime with Russia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(WHY IN 2016, WHEN I SAT WITH THE EMPLOYEE AND SAID THAT I WANT TO FLY TO FRANCE, SHE DID NOT TELL ME THIS INFORMATION??) I also asked the employee: "It's very bad if I take a visa and don't go anywhere with it ?”, I was told: “Of course it’s bad, you can’t do that” !!! But the press secretary of the European Union, Soren Liborius, replies that there will be no problems in this case!
And there is also a site where the article "4 myths about Schengen" is written, which describes what an employee told me, namely:
1) First you need to enter the country that issued the visa
2) In the country of issue of the visa, you need to stay the longest amount of time spent in the Schengen
3) Visa will not be given to unmarried girls
5) "The border guards didn't put a stamp, I'm finished."
And there is a lot of such information, but I did not write everything here, although there is something else to add!
Why am I leading all this? DO YOUR EMPLOYEES READ THE NEWS AT ALL? DO YOU FOLLOW THE UPDATES OF INFORMATION? MONITOR THE MARKET?
WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD?
Apparently - NO!
This travel agency owns employees who, as I understand it, are just too lazy to update their slice of knowledge, who simply churn out and don’t think about such a thing as customer focus!
I will never contact again!
Thank you for your attention!
