Based on the results of the trip, which I am incredibly delighted with (mainly thanks to the Guide Lena Romochkina and the driver Maxim), I am going to write about a dozen posts about traveling in Scandinavia. I will write about nature, culture, and history... In any case, I will try. But for now, I want to write about the shortcomings of the dsbw.ru organization through which I made out the tour. In fact, there are not so many cons, it just seems to me that I am obliged to mention them.

1. The strangest of the minuses is seating on the bus. I, sick in my head, booked a tour for July back in February. The main reason for my haste was: to book seats on the bus just behind the driver's seat. So that no one would get ahead of me, I made a 100th advance payment and calmly waited for the documents, which I should have received in my hands just 2 days before departure. They didn't cheat. In two days they sent a complete package, but my surprise knew no bounds. There were people seated in front of me.

And in front of them were two unoccupied technical places. And then the driver. In fact, my seats "immediately behind the driver" were in the fourth row. Yes, a comfortable beautiful bus. Yes, at some moments I was a driver with a guide who allowed me to transfer to technical places so that I had a panoramic view. But, as they say, "the spoons were found, but the sediment remained." Why do you need a seat reservation, if in fact it does not coincide with reality ???

2. The second significant minus is that due to the schedule of the schedule, I had to refuse one of the mandatory and already paid excursions. The thing is that the arrival on the first day, the transfer to the hotel for our couple was independent. On the second day, we were supposed to meet the group at the terminal where the ferry from Turku would land. It seems to be nothing criminal, if not for one thing. The dsbw agency settled us in the Radisson Hotel, which is located 30 km from Stockholm. Getting to the center takes just over an hour.

From the center to the pier - about an hour. And the ferry arrives at 6 am and immediately goes on a bus sightseeing tour of the city (I remind you that this tour was also paid for by me). So gentlemen, the agents from dsbw didn’t think that it wouldn’t work out for me to be at the pier at 6 in the morning, since I live in the suburbs ... Probably, I should have left the hotel at 4 in the morning. But the trouble is, the transport doesn’t run at such a time yet ... In short, our guide was also endlessly surprised by such a “wonderful” schedule for our tour. I had to skip the bus tour and arrive in the city by the time it ended.

3. And again to the question of the tour program. All distances between cities were indicated in printouts, which each of the tourists received in their hands in order to understand how long the journeys were. For a Muscovite, moving 300 km, perhaps, may even seem ridiculous.

However, in fact, many distances, probably in the dsbw agency, were measured by the "overhead line". Accordingly, they did not take into account that 300 can easily turn into 430, since Norway is a country of continuous serpentines. Alas, many expected much shorter journeys. Those distances that came out in the end were given to people over 50, and this, in turn, affected the mood of the guide. After all, of course, claims are always expressed to those who are unable to change something. Lena Romochkin can only be praised for his incredible stamina and stress resistance!

4. Well, the last minus. However, for me it was completely unimportant, since I speak English, but if any non-speaking person were in my place, it would be a real problem.

Upon arrival, there is NO indication in the tour program how to get to the hotel, although it would be possible to enter only one line: "From the airport you can take the FREE bus number 14 to the Radisson." Such a phrase would save a lot of nerves, and about an hour and a half of time. Also, there is NO indication of how to get to the city, since the agency sends us to meet the main group on our own. Again, just one line: "You can get to Stockholm on the SWEBUS or FLYBUSARNA buses (99 kroons) - pay at the entrance to the bus with a credit card, or on the Arlanda Express train (I don't remember the cost) - pay on the train with a credit card." Such nuances would give the agency an extra plus. And so, as many as 4 minuses.
