From 8th to 20th April 2014 we had a great ride in Spain. First to Barcelona. We stayed there for 10 hours, managed to drive along the red line of the tourist bus, go to the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. We wandered around the city for a bit and returned to the airport. Flight to Madrid, and then 6 days in Madrid with one-day trips to Toledo, Segovia and Escorial. We did a lot of preparatory work, developed routes in advance, bought train tickets, collected descriptive materials on sights. Therefore, every day was extremely rich both in terms of visits to beauties and antiquities, and from the cognitive and emotional side. After Madrid, the path lay in Seville. We stayed there for 3 days with a one day trip to Cordoba. We deliberately chose the week before Easter to become spectators and participants in the "processions of the cross", which are especially colorful in the southern provinces.
