The next day we were told that there were too many of us and that someone would be sent home in a couple of weeks. But as it turned out, the whole season everyone lived on the fear of being sent home without paying a salary. We worked as Guides, hotel, transfer, and tour guides. Of course they went to us seriously ..

It was possible to eat only at 9 pm at the Grand Hotel Hanioti in the back room for staff. If someone was sitting in the hotel on assistance, then he could eat during the day, but if the guide goes on a transfer (hotel - airport-hotel), then immediately to the assistance to the hotel, and it turns out to eat normally only at 9 pm.

Also, there is not a single day off for the whole season. In the evening you can’t leave your room, if someone saw that one of the guides went out for a walk, then they will load the work so that you can stretch your legs. Therefore, the girls walk, but everything is in a terrible secret. With regard to wages. Well, let's start with the fact that some girls were not paid money at all, they attributed it to the fact that they do not work well, and from their salary, they deduct a round-trip ticket and visa costs. Therefore, she flies away with an empty pocket.

If you manage to hold out until the end of the season, which is not easy to believe, well, firstly, constant pressure from the authorities, drivers, and various kinds of laborers who are relatives of the boss himself, or his close friends, and so, apart from pressure, not there you’re standing, you’re going in the wrong direction, you’re looking in the wrong way, and why are you looking there at all, and the most important question is Why are you tanned? Now, in a nutshell:

Conclusion: Not a bad job as a guide, if anyone wants to work as a guide, please, just choose a stable company, and that someone has already worked there before you, so that you know the whole truth right away. In Greece, there are a lot of companies where they honestly respect their employees, and they pay everything they promise, and the interest is also paid everything that they promise. But this is not Vilar Tours. Remember the name of this company and never work there. And of course, do not go through them to rest, tourists are thrown as well as employees!
