Holidays in Greece

For a very long time, my husband and I chose where to go for the May holidays. In the end, we settled on Greece. The documents were issued to us on time, the flight was successful, only the hotel, which was strongly recommended to us by the travel agency, was not ready to receive tourists. As it turned out, it was not completely renovated. The Russians brought a whole bus into it, in which there were a lot of small children. The hotel had a terrible smell of paint. We began to ask for a room in another building. As we were told, there were no places in the other building and only foreigners lived in it. Then we categorically refused to move into the rooms that were provided to us. At the same time, the representative of the tour operator was not very willing to try to help us. As a result, we ourselves got through to the tour operator in Moscow and we were given a room in another Calypso hotel. The rest of the holiday went very well. In "Calypso" we were very well received.

The conclusion is: do not trust the travel agency in choosing a hotel. I have always done it myself and henceforth it will be a science for me.
