We went to Turkey (Konakli Eftalia Resort 4 *) with a family of 4 from June 1 to June 12, 2014. Tour operator "Labyrinth" was not chosen, it just happened. I did not want to overpay for small children (6 and 7 years old). They sleep on the plane anyway, and all that. It turned out cheap and cheerful. We took 10 nights and paid for 10 nights, but when issuing air tickets it turned out that we were presented with the 11th night. But then, when departing back, they suddenly announced an early flight at midnight and they took away the 11th night from us. We weren't too upset. But on June 12, they were at home for the holiday of Russia. In Turkey, this firm works with Odeon Tour. Odeon Tours (Turkey), which is also owned by the international group of companies OTI, entered the TOP-100 of the best Turkish brands according to a study by Brand Finance, the largest consulting company in the evaluation of global brands.
"Labyrinth" ceased operations on August 2, 2014.
The situation with tour operators is not the bankruptcy of individual tour operators, but the bankruptcy of Shamanov and a chain of his firms: Aviacharter Air Broker, Labyrinth and Ideal Tour travel agencies. Problems with tour operators began on July 16. In August, there was a sharp drop in demand and purchasing power due to a sharp increase in the exchange rate and the negative political situation.
