ATTENTION!!!! CAREFULLY!!!
On July 12, they made a reservation at the Solaris travel agency with a departure on September 27. We thought to take it in installments, so we turned to this travel agency, and close to home. The tour operator and the hotel were chosen by ourselves. At the office, it turned out that for installments you need to go to the store (the travel agency does not yet have its own password for registration). Then we decided that we would collect the money ourselves, made an advance payment and received a contract. The remaining amount was to be paid no later than September 12th. Given such an unstable situation in the tourist market, they called and found out the number of our reservation from the Biblio Globus tour operator. Checked. All is well, payment has been made. After a while, checking the reservation, we see that it has been cancelled. We call Solaris, and they say that the management asked to rebook the tour not directly from Biblio Globus, but through the tour box and gave us a new reservation number. Checked, everything is fine. On September 9, in the morning, we went to Solaris to pay the remaining amount.
Everything is fine, they said that I will receive the documents on September 23-24. After 2 days, we decided to check the reservation, whether our full payment went through and we see that the reservation was cancelled. We call Solaris, they tell us not to worry, everything is fine with you, do not pay attention to this "personal account". We decided to double-check our reservation at Biblio Globe, and they say that the reservation was canceled for non-payment. CONCLUSION: they took the money, but they were not going to pay anything. The reservation was canceled on September 10th. Nothing intelligible was explained in Solaris. We wrote an application for a refund, which must be returned (under the contract) no later than 10 days after writing. We are waiting for September 22, but we doubt very much that they will return on time.
Considering the vigorous activity in the social networks of the Solaris travel agency and the large advertising of autumn and New Year tours, it must be assumed that the money from potential tourists will not be collected at all to pay for these tours, but to pay off previous debts (possibly), or maybe for their own needs.
