I remembered the summer, and I wanted to write a review about my summer vacation. We were on the bus tour "Cancan and Flamenco" for 15 days along the following route: Helsinki-Stockholm - Amsterdam - Paris - Carcassonne - Barcelona (coast holidays and excursions) - Nice-Cannes-Monaco-Strasbourg - Luebeck - and back also through Sweden and Finland. My son and I were in general for the first time on a trip to Europe. We bought a tour in our city in a small agency, but ended up on the bus of the Aerotravel tour operator from St. Petersburg. Summarizing, I will say that I really liked everything and I will definitely pack up and go somewhere next year. A lot of impressions left from Amsterdam, Paris, Spain. Such tours are generally ideal to see many countries and cities in a short time, and take a break from excursions at sea. Especially for people like us who went to Europe for the first time.

We ended up in Paris on Bastille Day (July 14), the whole city was celebrating, military equipment was assembled on the square in front of the Les Invalides, a helicopter was flying in the sky, and in the evening people gathered around the Eiffel Tower and everyone looked at the beautiful fireworks. I was just happy to see it. Since the fireworks ended late, everyone was tired when they arrived at the hotel by 12 at night, but what they saw was worth it. The hotels are all decent, clean, with all amenities, breakfasts in France, however, are very simple - buns, tea and coffee, juice, muesli, but in Spain and Germany there were buffets. After Paris, we went to Spain through the Loire Castles. We looked at Chambord and Amboise, visited the winery (reading the reviews, I realized that everyone goes to the same place), tasted the wines. Liked. We spent the night already in the south of France, in Toulouse. I must say right away that we personally endured the transfers (what all our friends scared us and what other travelers wrote about) perfectly.

In many ways, this, of course, depends on the guide and his planning of movements, stops, stories along the way. Our guide was a girl named Kulizhnikova Svetlana. She introduced us to the life and history of the places visited in an accessible form, gave us the maximum information, it was very pleasant to listen to her. There was a lot of thematic music (Spanish guitar, French chanson), which created a mood on the bus - well, it’s impossible to constantly talk to the guide and listen to tourists, the guide also put on films on the topic - both about Paris and Spain, mostly artistic, but there were and documentaries, for example, "Tour de France" with Posner and Urgant. At home, you can hardly find time to watch this, but here, following fresh tracks, it was very pleasant. Excursions were mostly in the morning, and then moving, it's great, because.

you can sleep with a clear conscience on the bus)))) Another important quality in our guide is that she is a very good organizer, punctual, explains everything intelligibly and in general it’s just nice to look at a person - a beauty, always looks good, dressed elegantly, you look and admire. Finally arrived in Spain. 2 days sunbathing, sandy beaches on the entire coast and free, which is important. From the resort we went on an excursion to Barcelona, we even saw a demonstration during a walking tour, musical fountains. It's time to leave Spain. Having visited Girona and Figueras on the way to Nice, in the evening we reached the Cote d'Azur. It's great that an excursion to Girona and Figueras (the Salvador Dali Museum) is included in the price of the tour, unlike other tour operators. Nice has a pebbly beach, sunbathing and swimming is not as convenient as in Spain. But on the other hand, we went from Nice to Monaco - an unrealistically beautiful excursion, I recommend it to everyone.

Compared to Monaco, Cannes was not impressive at all, although there was a pleasant boat trip to the island of St. Margaret. And a few more words about the bus and the drivers - we had a white Lithuanian bus, nice and fairly new (2011). Drivers Nikolai and Vladislav from Vilnius are just great. Very attentive to tourists, the bus is always orderly and clean, they help with luggage. When you travel, you can trust them completely. In general, do not be afraid, travel, sometimes such nostalgia for the tour covers, as it is now, for example, that you want to go on the road again ...
