Traveled to the Dominican Republic in October 2010 with Natalie tours. After reading negative reviews about this tour operator, we were afraid that the rest could be ruined! But, in fact, everything turned out great! I would like to say a big thank you to the representative of Natalie Tours in the Dominican Republic, Evgenia, who solved all our problems!
Arrived at the airport of Punta Cana. At the counter of Natalie Tours, we were given an envelope with booklets about the Dominican Republic and excursions, which says the time when the guide will arrive at our hotel, the bus number and the round-the-clock telephone number of Natalie Tours. Since our hotel was far enough away, representatives of Natalie Tours warned that we would have to check in ourselves. Which tensed us, mindful of the reviews on the Internet.
Literally leaving the airport, we were met by the Spanish-speaking representative of Natalie Tours, who accompanied us to the bus we needed, handed each of us a bottle of cold water and put us on the bus. Everything is organized quickly and clearly. We traveled in a Mercedes minibus to Uverto Alto with just seven of us, and the return transfer was generally individual, and no additional money was taken from us.
On the second day, our guide Evgenia arrived, and the first thing she asked was how we settled down. Having learned that we would like to change the room, she calmly and without any additional payments helped us to do this. She gave us all the information about the hotel and tours. Natalie Tours offers a fairly extensive list of excursions ranging from $75 to $299, and a plane trip up to $450 and fishing up to $2900. So everyone will find something for themselves, and they have excursions both for groups and Vip up to 12 people.
We did not hear when we were invited to one of the excursions, and Evgenia agreed to postpone this excursion for us the next day. And the next day she called to remind what time we had an excursion and called us back until we got on the bus. And in general, thanks to Evgenia, we were in touch in the Dominican Republic! Since in MTS we have connected the service "World without Borders", but no roaming! And having arrived in the Dominican Republic, we found that MTS does not catch there, unlike, for example, Beeline, even without roaming. By the way, upon returning to Russia, the written-off subscription fee was returned by MTS, after writing a claim. You can buy a SIM card from the local operator Orange only with your international passport. A guide with your passport cannot do this. A taxi to the city would have cost us $100. So Evgenia, like a fairy, offered us her SIM card for free, with a refund, of course. Outgoing calls to Russia cost 70 cents.
I would like to say once again many thanks to Natalie Tours for a perfectly organized vacation, especially to our guide Evgenia, a bright and sympathetic girl, thanks to whom our vacation was just great!
