In the travel agency I bought only excursions, transfers and insurance. I bought the hotel and tickets myself.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of "auxiliary fact-finding" material given out about the country before the trip, especially thanks for the magazine on Israel.
I stopped on excursions Christian Jerusalem and Russian Jerusalem to see all the options for Jerusalem. The guides are really competent, although it was often difficult to take in all the information, but impressive.
