Feedback on the work of the travel agency Vertical

It so happened that I bought two coupons for one-day tours to Finland with the travel agency Vertical. Each coupon cost 1290 rubles, paying for a trip for two people. Coupons were offered by Vygoda.ru. A coupon discount of 41% was announced, which seemed like a good deal. In addition, I liked that they promised themed tours, and not just shopping as usual. Then, however, with a more detailed acquaintance with the travel agency’s website, it turned out that the discount was not so great, since the tours cost about 850 rubles per person (another figure was indicated in the coupon -1100 rubles)

Having called the travel agency, it turned out that on the date that we named, it was impossible to go on a coupon. They offered to go on June 22 to Kotka and Hamina. We looked at the program - excursions were promised, as well as free time for 3 hours. Agreed.

The trip was extremely dissatisfied. We left at 5-30 from Moscow Square, a white Mercedes bus, guide Daria.

As it turned out, June 22 is the holiday of Ivan Kupala, everything is closed, which no one warned us about in advance, they informed us when we were already on the bus. The second surprise was that we were going through Brusnichnoye instead of Torfyanovka. As we understood, because a fish shop worked there. The main reason seems to be that the driver wanted to eat the fish soup. But the cafe was closed. As a result, they gave a hook for two hours, if not more. The toilet was twice - both times on the Russian border. When asked to stop for domestic needs, they answered that it was impossible. With a cynical - indifferent look. Although literally a few minutes after the request, we drove through a gas station.

There was no free time to walk anywhere. Were in the museum of retro aircraft, at the dacha of Alexander the Third, in Kotka in a beautiful park. But all in a hurry, on the run. Hamina looked for 3 minutes from the bus window. They didn’t understand where Juliet’s balcony was.

The reasons for all this - a trip through Brusnichnoye, and a disgusting organization. Back in St. Petersburg, at Vosstaniya Square, they waited for a woman with two boys for about 10 minutes. Then, at the Aircraft Museum, a couple of tourists took pictures of the plane for 10 minutes, and the guide ran around them and persuaded them to get on the bus.

The bus periodically turned on the air conditioner - icy air on the legs!

Even such a nuance - back there is a stop on the Black River (most of them get out there, and so do we). So the bus, for some unknown reason, stopped 500 meters from the metro.

We chose Imatra as the second trip, we wanted to see the waterfall show.

27-07-13 started at 5-40 from Moscow Square. Bus white Mercedes. Guide Elina first of all tells us her "rules" - if someone is late for three minutes - sing, if for 6 minutes - sing and dance. And whoever is 10 minutes late, sings and dances in the place of the bus. Very funny! New "details" begin to emerge.

We will go through "Brusnika" instead of the declared Svetogorsk. The motivation is outrageous - supposedly otherwise it will turn out to be too much (!) Free time, and some will get tired and not want to watch the waterfall at 19-00. Of course, it’s better that we stand in line at customs for too long. While waiting in line at the border, it was suggested to go to the forest and experience happiness there (the words of the guide). The boiler (or whatever it is called correctly - a thermospot maybe?) as always did not work (it was the same on the first trip). The water boiled, but only the first 5 visitors were happy here. The guide, of course, can't do anything. I had to open the lid and scoop up boiling water through the top. Coffee is the cheapest you can buy in St. Petersburg.

At the Russian customs, Elina invited Vertical to go through passport control. Everyone huddled in front of the fence. But not for long. The guide asked Vertical to step aside, because the bus won't start.

It took about 15 minutes until the guide began to call people for an important message. As it turned out, the bus broke down completely, all the wires were burned, nothing could be done. A bus was called from St. Petersburg, which took us back after 3 hours. Type he has no rights to cross the border. Those who need to go to Finland today will get their money back and put on other buses. At the same time - no apologies, not to mention the songs and dances (read above her rules) Like, what's wrong with that? It's a technique, it breaks down. There the planes are falling ... They will return the money, but we have a coupon. Now this is a useless piece of paper, with which they will not be put on any bus. Since we had to cross the border without fail (the visa was running out), we did not wait until the guide came down to us, and went on our own. There - by car, back by bus SovAvto. As a result, the trip cost us 2700 rubles. Plus coupon.
