My family rested from 06/29/2014 to 07/13/2014 at the Ammon Zeus Hotel (Kallithea, Chalkidiki). Tour operator - Ambotis Tour. Our hotel guide was Ivan Kaza. From the first day, deceit and omissions began on his part. That supposedly there is no public transport from Kallithea to Thessaloniki, according to him. Although the hotel itself hangs a bus schedule to Thessaloniki. Yes, they do not enter the city center, but we did not ask him specifically about the center. It was he who diligently tried to sell us a car rental service. That allegedly he sends me important SMS messages that I did not receive (although the rest came from him). But a separate song is excursions. On June 30, 2014, he sold us an excursion for July 2 to the caves of Petralona plus the ancient Olynthos - 45 euros for an adult and 30 euros for a child. In total, this happiness cost us 120 euros. Before that, he told me in detail about this excursion, mentioning that it lasts until the evening.
On the tour itself, the guide Svetlana suddenly informs us that we will not go to Olynthos, because. there is an invasion of snakes and Olynthos is closed to the public. At the same time, she said that the hotel guide should return part of the money for the unused part of the tour. We returned home by lunchtime, and I immediately informed Ivan that we needed to return part of the money. According to him, he learned that Olynthos was closed four days ago. Excuse me, but why did he then sell us this excursion at full price on June 30, without mentioning the closure of Olynthos? Then he retracted his words, saying that he did not know about it. Then he said that Ambotis was not going to return any money to anyone, that Svetlana would be “inserted” for excessive talkativeness, but in the end he returned 15 euros to our family without any of our signatures anywhere. That is, we did not understand how much money we were supposed to have (maybe not 15 euros, but 45?
) and is it really Ambotis who does not want to return the money or is this Ivan's personal opinion. At the same time, he poured mud on the company in which he works and said that this is already the fourth company in which he works. I wouldn't hire such an employee at all. In general, this Ivan Kaza ruined our entire vacation, and Ambotis did not make more profit, since we bought the rest of the excursions in retaliation from their competitor - from Mouzenidis Travel and were satisfied with them. We also rented a car from Mouzenidis.
