They flew to Greece, to Thessaloniki for 4 days with the help of this company. Airplane, transfer, hotel Domotel Les Lazaristes, everything was great.
On the first day, we bought an excursion to Meteora for 4 (including a child), paid 70 euros for adults and 35 euros for a child. The tour was scheduled for the last full day of our stay in Thessaloniki.
After consulting with the guide Olga about meals on the way, we heard the answer that you don’t need to take anything, since you can’t eat on the buses, but during stops, in a cafe (we all understand that we are talking about predetermined cafes with kickbacks for employees) regarding cheap food.
All the time of the trip the guide led the program perfectly.
But the first disappointment awaited us when we visited only one monastery, the stay in which was only about 45 minutes. The other 5 did not even come to take pictures.
The second disappointment and the most important, which nullified all the merits of Mouzenidis Travel, was waiting for us after the descent from Meteor, when we were taken to a cafe.
In front of the cafe, the guide, like an experienced scammer (I realized this later, because I know this contingent firsthand, but not hoping to meet them in Greece), instructed us, repeating more than once that the cafe had normal prices, everything was delicious and there we we will have very little time and therefore we must very quickly take a meal and go. The bus stopped and everyone ran to eat in this "canteen", not even a cafe, naturally paying attention to prices only after they were struck in the check. For two "Soviet, not Greek" portions of pork, two Greek salads, one soup and two juices, we paid 55 euros!!!! For comparison, in Thessaloniki, in a cafe, with sea delicacies and alcohol, we paid a maximum of 4 35 euros and ate everything to satiety!!!
By the way, the guide, after the cafe, was in no hurry to go anywhere at all, even at the next stop.
It seems to be a trifle (but if we count a huge amount on our money), but just as a drop of tar spoils a barrel of honey, this incident also spoiled the impression of the entire Mouzenidis Travel company. Since this is an outright fraud, when abusing trust, they deliberately mislead in order to obtain material gain.
