We went to Thailand for 10 days, we took the cheapest tour, it included more or less a room in some flimsy hotel (along the way, the cheapest in Pattaya). A friend was settled in a small modest room overlooking the parking lot. The rooms are of the same type, in general, I just had a little better. No one told us on the Cloudless tour that there would be luxury suites for that kind of money, the lady manager called it the “student” option, I said. that we haven’t been students for a long time)) to which she explained that this is a low-budget option with modest rooms (in fact, by the way, very modest), but in Pattaya you disappear for days at the market (by the way, don’t drag durian fruit into the room, it smells like that - you can die), then on the beach, then somewhere else, in the hotel you only sleep. If you like to travel, then travel, and do not stick around in a rotten room, IMHO. The travel agency norms, they didn’t embellish anything anywhere, they didn’t promise a golden palace for a penny, in general, they did it.
