We went to Chapaev last year at the beginning of May. Until now, my husband and I always sailed along the Volga. I wanted to try something new, and we decided to take a cruise on the Oka. They were quite satisfied.
We did not depart from the usual Northern River Station, but from the small Southern one. Getting there is not so convenient, after all, the metro is far away.
There were a lot of gateways on our way, but they were also on the channel to them. There is enough Moscow, so it's business as usual. I remember excursions to Kolomna and Konstantinovo. Kolomna pleased us with fragments of the old Kremlin and quiet streets with openwork houses. We did not go on an excursion to Ryazan, my cousin lives there with her husband, we went to visit them. And I really wanted to visit Konstantinovo, because our beloved Sergei Yesenin was born and raised there. His house is now a museum.
And everything seems simple - a peasant's hut, a manor, but how everything is presented, with what love they say that you are not going on a tour, but really get into the last century, everything is simple, homely. And modern Moscow seems to be somewhere far away, around Yesenin's Russia, "the country of birch calico"!
The motor ship is small, that's why it can walk along the not very deep Oka. Pretty cozy, upholstered furniture in the salons. We liked the team. It can be seen that they are trying, they love their Chapaev. Separately, I want to thank the chefs, they cook very tasty! The restaurant organizes a breakfast buffet in the morning, however, when all passengers arrive at the same time, the queue can form, so it’s better to come later. Our cabin was generally good, clean, with a large window, only the toilet room was cramped. There is a TV, so it was something to keep yourself busy after the evening program.
We then called and thanked the girl who helped us pick him up, and in general we want to say thank you to the ship Vasily Chapaev!
