I was lucky not to stay in Crete despite the guides of ANEX Tour

I would like to leave my review about the trip with "ANEX Tour". I used the services of this operator for the first time, although I flew with many.

Well, I'll leave my disappointed impression here.

We flew with a friend to Greece, to Crete, to Hersonissos from September 3 to September 14, 2017, at the Simple Hotel 2 *.

The meeting with the hotel guide (Anna Bondar) was the next day after arrival. We were not provided with information about the hotel, we figured everything out ourselves and by touch, since we speak no English. Then we began to offer excursions. I would like to note their meager selection at inflated prices. We wanted to visit Santorini for two days, to which Anna said that "it's not fashionable now." What difference does it make if we are fashionable or not? Western Crete was also not offered to us, just like on a trip to Athens. Apparently, the special offers of the Anex tour are limited to the water park, the Palace of Knossos and Spinalonga. Sadly.

But we were not upset, but purchased tour tickets at good prices in another (local) travel agency with great conditions: interesting Russian-speaking guides, comfortable buses, interesting programs. Yes, our choice definitely fell on their side, and not on the side of the tour operator. Alas.

In fact, we did not receive any more useful information from Anna - neither about the hotel, nor about the city, nor about departure. Upon departure, we were told that the day before all the information would be at the reception desk under glass. Fill out the form and say goodbye.

Our hotel was not on the main street where the bus brings, it takes 3-5 minutes to walk to it. Those. the bus should pick us up from the main street, where there are many stops for boarding and disembarking passengers. On the eve of our departure, after dinner, information about the departure appeared. Well, how did it appear ... To find it, we had to go through the quest: "guess where?quot;.

There was no information under the glass at the reception desk. There were no printouts anywhere. Only after contacting the hotel administrator did we find out that the information was hanging on a small piece of paper for notes. Hooray! Found! We look at a piece of paper - but for some reason the place where we should be taken from is not indicated. What to do? We call Anna. Anna hangs up calls. We are writing in WhatsApp ... I will not retell our entire dialogue, which spoiled the already spoiled mood and impression of the operator. Let me just say that Anna considers this information on a piece of paper to be exhaustive information about leaving. And to get an answer to the question "from which stop do they pick us up from?quot; I succeeded only on the 4th attempt, because, rude to us, Anna poked at the points that we were wrong and inattentive. Well, okay ... In general, we found out that they were picking us up at 4:45 from the National Bank stop. We arrived at 4:40. There was no bus at this stop either at 4:45, or at 4:55, or even at 5:05.

At about 200 meters we saw a standing bus. At six o'clock the thought came: "What if it's ours? Yes, no, it can't be. They said exactly the National Bank." And when this bus was already moving towards the airport, we saw the sign "ANEX Tour". It's good that the tourists on the bus saw me running after the bus. Otherwise, we would have traveled on our own and don’t understand how ... And the guide (I think her name was Christina) also ran into us with the words: “We always pick up what National Bank there?”. Fine! Well, yes ... we leave for the airport every day, we know what and how, we just somehow forgot today ... (sarcasm). In general, "ANEX Tour" pretty spoiled our mood and impression. As for our Anechka from the hotel, the quality of her work can be judged not only by my review, but also by the comments of vacationers on the stand at the Simple Hotel under the guide's photo.

And we really liked Crete! We will definitely come back again. Only not with "ANEX Tour". And I will not recommend them to friends / acquaintances / everyone-everyone-everyone I know.
