We decided to see Italy, since we went to this country for the first time, we took a sightseeing tour of the most historically significant cities. It is clear that it is impossible to cover everything completely in a week, but nevertheless, the main impression will be formed.

On the first day, we were immediately taken from the airport to San Marino (by the way, we were there twice - on the last day before departure), then we were put up in a hotel in Rimini, saying that in the evening our accompanying Vlada should appear, who, so and did not appear, and we saw her only in the morning of the next day, when we left for Rome. I must say that Vlada was not particularly happy with the questions of tourists (which to a greater extent even concerned organizational issues), answered them far without any desire, and most often she pretended that she simply did not hear, in order to achieve something, she had to repeat her question 5 times and almost yelling in the ear. And yes, she was very vague.

It is impossible not to fall in love with Rome, as in principle with other cities of Italy ... A sightseeing walking tour of Rome - everything is in a hurry, at a gallop, the information is not digested ... It is much more pleasant to take a walk with a guide in your hands, but here it is clear - it is impossible to grasp the immensity , the guides have a certain time allotted for us, which we must meet ... A very interesting excursion - 4 basilicas, thanks to the wonderful guide Alexei! Insanely interesting story ... Do not take the tour "Night Rome"! We did not take it, and, as it turned out, we did it exactly right! Who was - all reviews are 100% negative! We did not go to the Tivoli castles, but immediately after the Vatican we went on an independent acquaintance with Rome, which we absolutely do not regret!

Then there was an excursion to Naples and Pompeii, magnificent cities, in Pompeii a very interesting excursion, one was a minus - we took the complex lunch offered to us for 15 euros per person. It was the worst lunch... Some kind of huge canteen, with an impossible number of tourists, terrible yelling, hum, rushing waiters, absolutely tasteless food (pizza like our fast food, breaded rubber squids, some kind of salad without dressing with potatoes fries), so some musician began to walk between the tables, playing the guitar and uselessly singing and yelling right into your ear (maybe they, of course, believe that such “singing” contributes to better digestion of food, but I rather have a different reflex appeared ...), so that musician then still walked around and very persistently collected tips. It is better, of course, to eat somewhere yourself, if time permits ...

Accompanying people naturally strongly advise you to eat with them, go only to certain stores, buy only in certain places, because. they have interest on this, but believe me, it’s much more profitable and better to buy if you go somewhere yourself, to which, by the way, our Vlada simply reacted terribly and poured mud from head to toe.

I really liked Siena, but too little time is allotted for it ...

Well, Venice ... like in a fairy tale ... I also wanted to take a longer walk there myself, but it is clear that within the framework of such a tour it is physically impossible ...

Our driver was great, the bus was comfortable. Only now there was a very unpleasant moment when Vlada began to collect tips for the driver, and the amount was 2 euros per person for one day. In my opinion, how much to give is a personal matter for everyone, everyone has different financial capabilities.

And then she began to say that "we collected so little, it's even embarrassing to give away, but there are people who don't donate anything at all!" Still, we are not at school and not in the Komsomol ... The last straw was when she began to say that it would be nice for her to leave a tip, otherwise "it's indecent to just say goodbye and not leave a tip" ...

A very eventful tour, a lot of positive impressions from Italy, albeit an expensive country! I would like to come back here again, but I know for sure that it will be an independent trip, so that you can manage your time the way you want and just walk along the streets with a guide in your hands...
