My husband and I went on a very interesting tour from Atlas - called the Green Necklace. This tour is related to Sri Lanka. We chose the deluxe hotel for 5 stars. It all started with the arrival in Kandy and a sightseeing tour of it. Then we moved to the Royal Botanic Gardens - my God, how many beautiful flowers are here! I once again fell in love with orchids)). Later, in the evening of the same day, we were at the Dalada Maligawa temple, where we saw the Tooth of the Buddha. Since I myself am close to Buddhism, for me it was a complete revelation. Very strange feeling. On the second day we had a transfer and a visit to the elephant nursery in Pinnawala. I even managed to touch the elephant by the trunk)))). And feed the smallest one from the milk bottle ^_^ It was amazing! The third day we traveled around the town of Nuwara Eliya, which we moved to the night before. This is a former summer residence and from it you can see the highest peak of Sri Lanka and the lake.
After that, we moved to the selected beach hotel and this is where the tour ended. But we paid extra to stay in this place for a couple more days in the hotel and just walk around the neighborhood. It was unforgettable! Atlas really pleased us!
