My friends and I gathered last autumn in Spain, a group of four people. We have experience of traveling to Europe, so we immediately mapped out a route through Lappeenranta, from where we usually fly to the intended place. We had to fly to Tenerife, and this is a transfer in Dusseldorf at the Weeze airport. By the way, you need to wait for the plane for almost a day, so there is time (if you are on this route for the first time) to explore the city, just keep in mind that it is 90 kilometers from Weeze.
In general, we didn’t have our own car at that time, and we decided to resort to the services of a travel agency. We ordered a transfer from St. Petersburg to Lappeenranta Airport and back from the Art Cruise company and honestly did not regret it. There was no one in the car but us. The driver collected us from the subway stations. They crossed the border - they didn’t even notice how. At the same time, they booked us an inexpensive hotel room, a three-minute drive from the airport. And on the way back, upon arrival of the plane, they were already waiting for us. Everything is great!
