We would like to thank the Ava-Asia tour operator for organizing a wonderful tour to the Philippines. We will not hide when we bought this tour we were afraid. Very far away and almost unknown country. Thailand, Vietnam, even Malaysia are somehow still well-known, but the Philippines somehow remain in the shadows. But the exotic attracted me. Vacationing on the island of Boracay. Just a fabulous place! The sand of the beach is almost white. I don't even believe it. Water is the purest. And palm trees grow right on the beach. There are restaurants everywhere on the shore where you can order national and European dishes. Be sure to order dishes with tuna - lick your fingers! Or krispi pata - a specially fried pork leg - crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside.
We stayed at the Discovery Shores Hotel. Both living conditions and service were top notch. The room has air conditioning, bathroom, modern TV. The hotel has its own swimming pool. There are several restaurants.
We recommend tasting them all. They are worth it.
Of the attractions of the island, the Dead Forest (trees flooded with water) and the shell museum are impressive. Be sure to visit the local bazaar, where you will be offered just a huge number of souvenirs. Come to this heavenly place, you won't regret it!
