Malta

We rested in early December on the island of Malta. Tour operator ICS travel group. Previously, we went with them to Cyprus and Bulgaria, and now a new trip is also with them. The tour was well organized again, so I rate it “excellent” again, I will write a few words about the island of Malta. A small island south of Sicily, very rocky, it is unusual when you see the sea and do not see the beach, and the entrance to the sea is either on stones, or on a tiny piece of stove, or even from a platform along a ladder. It’s good that we didn’t come in the summer, otherwise it would not be clear how to swim. The hotel was chosen 5 *, but disappointed. City, noisy, very large, they waited 1.5 (!!!) hours for resettlement, although they arrived after lunch. The breakfast is modest for this level, the room is noisy, the balcony was not even opened, about seeing the sea or something pleasant from the room - I generally keep quiet. Rating "three with a minus". The hotel is not recommended. Intercontinental. But they themselves are to blame - they chose him. Excursions purchased on the spot, from the guide Julia.

It was Valletta and Mdina. Then we met another couple, they rented a car and went with them to a wonderful place with bright boats (I forgot the name). They are in Malta for the third time, they told a lot of interesting things. The cuisine is ordinary, everyone praises the rabbit dish, but we were not impressed. The wines are not bad, we bought a couple to take home. The weather was good, for walks and excursions just right. There was no rain, there was sun, bright sky, comfortable. They were satisfied with the trip, the services of the travel company, too. We totally recommend. Next time we will contact ICS travel group again.
