Rested in Phuket from 31.01 to 10.02, Patong, Armoni Beach Hotel. Tour operator Pegasus.
1. It is probably too difficult to establish normal air traffic. First, they changed the route of departure from Moscow, and we were also given a landing in India for refueling as a “load”. But that's okay. On the way back, another 4 hours were taken to the neighboring province of Krabi (although they had to fly from Phuket) to the most wonderful airport of the third world. Could we expect to at least fly away from there without delay? Silly question, right? This is the carrier that Pegasus uses!!! Delay is normal for them. As a result, it took 23 hours to get home. This has never happened before in my life!!! Transfer rating minus 1 on a 10-point scale.
2. Our hotel guide was a young man named Abdizar. She signed us up for a sightseeing tour of the island on 03.02 and announced the program. He also told us to call him if the bus was delayed more than 15 minutes.
The bus, of course, did not arrive on time. He arrived in 50 minutes! During this time, we called our guide 2 times. Both times he spoke harshly, if not to say boorishly, and even allowed himself to hang up the phone. Firstly, no one pulled his tongue when he announced the time of the excursion. Secondly, it is at least impolite to make tourists wait for an hour without warning. And, of course, throwing pipes is the limit of rudeness and disrespect. Does anyone in Pegasus know about the "Customer is Always Right" rule??? Or in Pegasus, everyone does not care about customers ??? This is not surprising, because the tour has already been paid for. And the negative that is formed in the client is nonsense. Tomorrow, another one will come. .
3. To my great surprise, 50 minutes after the designated time, the bus arrived for us. It can be seen that some planets have left their orbits.
The guide's name, in my opinion, was Maxim (he burrs a little), who took us shopping, although Abdizar said that there would be an excursion part first, and I personally was not interested in shopping. But it's still half the trouble. The program included visiting the Wat Chalom temple, one of the main attractions of the island. But we were brought to some minor temple. I asked the guide why such a change. The guide confidently replied that Wat Chalom was "temporarily closed" to tourists. Let me ask you, how is it, if the next day it was open and the guide of the local tour desk took us there without any problems? Either the guides of Pegasus do not have the information, or they simply decided not to strain and were taken anywhere, since no one bought anything on forced shopping and Pegasus was left without a commission.
As a result of this attitude, I booked all other excursions on the spot, since there was no longer a desire to do anything through Pegasus. Pegasus was left without earnings, with which I sincerely congratulate them.
5. In the hotel we rested together. Accordingly, the payment was for two. Then why were we put in a room that was actually intended for one person? With one narrow closet, one bedside table and one chair? To make sure that the numbers are adequate, obviously, in Pegasus it never occurs to anyone. Any domestic troubles seriously spoil the overall impression of the vacation.
Summary: Never mess with Pegasus!
