Good afternoon.
I wanted to share my sad experience of contacting the Bon Voyage travel agency. In April 2012, we purchased a ticket to Thailand for the month of August, i.e. the trip was planned in advance. 1 week before departure, we were informed (well, at least a week before) that the tour operator with whom they had an agreement canceled flights from late August to October (without explanation) and we needed to change the tour operator and pay another 20 tr. to fly from St. Petersburg in the same way, or fly from Moscow and we will be refunded the difference of 23 tr. Because vouchers are not cheap anyway, then pay another 20 tr. we didn’t have the opportunity and we agreed to fly from Moscow, having bought tickets at our own expense (we don’t mind about this). It's been over a month now but Bon Voyage doesn't want to refund us the difference. They explain their reluctance by the fact that they, in turn, had friction with the original tour operator. They keep asking you to wait a little longer.
Why the company solves its problems at the expense of tourists and its customers is not clear. Previously, we have already traveled to other destinations through this tour agent, but there were no problems. Now I will think about whether it is worth contacting this company for services and recommending it to my colleagues and friends if they have such an approach to resolving issues.
