If you don't want to spoil your vacation, fray your nerves and lose money, do not contact Travelata. This company is not related to tour operators, but is only a reseller of travel packages, working for a percentage and is not responsible for anything. Here is our history of communication with the travel agency "Travelata" ...

07/12/14 I purchased a tourist product to France from the company "Travelata" from August 09, 2014. with payment of the full cost, including payment for services for obtaining visas. 07/15/14 My husband and I arrived at the office of Travelata LLC, located on 22/2 Tverskaya Street, with all the documents necessary for obtaining a visa of the established form and handed them over to the visa department. The manager who received the documents from us (Naydenova I.) assured us that we had brought the documents in advance, and that tomorrow they would be handed over to the consulate and in 10-14 days the visas would be ready, which we would definitely be informed about. After 14 days (29.07.14.

) I decided to clarify whether our documents are ready and when they can be picked up and wrote to the manager (Alena Muravyova) by e-mail. I was told that the visas are not yet ready, which we checked with the partners and we are waiting for it at the beginning of next week. From July 29 to August 06, 2014, I called the Travelata office every day and tried to find out the fate of our documents. To all our legitimate and objective questions, the company's managers told us that the documents were handed over on time, and the rules for obtaining visas were delaying the French consulate. For a week of telephone conversations, I was brought to a nervous breakdown, and my husband could not take a paid vacation in advance and suffered significant financial losses, and we risked not going anywhere, while losing the full cost of the tour. We tried to contact someone from the management of your company by phone, to which we received a response from managers: "We do not have such information."

As a result of receiving cynical answers within a few days, the meaning of which is “do whatever you want” and “we don’t know anything”, only a day before departure, we learned that we would be given visas and the trip would take place. As my husband found out, the documentation for obtaining visas was transferred to the visa department of the Natalie Tours company only on July 28, 2014, that is, in fact, 2 weeks after we passed them. The administration of Travelata, after a long blatant lie, stopped shifting the blame to the French consulate, admitted this fact, but refused to explain. Where and with whom our passports were for 2 weeks, no one explained to us (obviously someone slept on them). Well, if so, but our question was whether our documents could be used for illegal actions, for some reason they refused to answer us. In the name of the General Director Zaretsky A.S.

I filed a complaint, as a result received a cynical answer in three lines written by a semi-literate lawyer of the company. They didn’t deign to answer the husband’s official statement at all (in vain they treated him so disregardingly, the husband is now writing applications to the Federal Tourism Agency and the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office). Obviously, Mr. Zaretsky, who permanently lives outside the Russian Federation, absolutely does not care how his company works, the main thing is that “money is dripping”. If you do not want to be in our situation, contact reliable tour operators, and not small-speculative tour operators. Good luck to you!
