There has never been a more terrible tour in my history. 3 * hotels are announced for the tour, at best they corresponded to 1 *. The hotel in Sana'a had no amenities in the room (shower-toilet on the floor). There are even more complaints about the hotel on Socotra, the hotel "Sumerland" is indicated in the tour program (which, according to the staff of the Yemeni travel agency, is just the only hotel on the island that corresponds to the 3 * level). Upon receipt of the vouchers, it turned out that we would live in the Sokatra hotel. We were shocked upon arrival. The room is a room with shabby walls, in which there is nothing but 2 beds. Not even a single nail to hang a towel on. There is no hot water in principle, it was not possible to wash your hair normally after swimming in the sea (during the day the water does not heat up, and in the morning and in the evening it is ice cold). What is in the rooms is a cloud of flies and mosquitoes.

In recent days, when it started to rain, our room was flooded, water flowed in a stream from the hole for the air conditioner and from under the window sills. Now about the food: the dining room at the hotel is a room with dirty tables, fat aluminum plates, where the locals eat, and of course the flies. 4 people from a group of 8 people got indigestion, and I had it all in an acute form (days of diarrhea and vomiting). For almost the rest of the time, I ate only boiled eggs, I was simply afraid to eat anything else. Regarding the discrepancy between the living conditions and those specified in the contract, we contacted the agent in Moscow (Viktor Komin) through the local representative of Nijib. The letter received an answer that he supposedly warns all tourists about the bad conditions in Socotra (a complete lie, to put it mildly, not a word was said about such horrendous conditions).

What was written to Victor, but we were not awarded more answers. If the conditions do not correspond to 3 *, then why write about it, and even more so indicate the Summerland hotel in the program (it is still listed in the tour program). Despite all the horrors, I want to note the efforts of local representatives (accompanying, representatives of a local company and drivers), they tried to do everything possible from them to make it easier for us. I want to summarize - the tour operator, in accordance with the law on tourism, is obliged to provide all reliable information about the product that he sells, which he did not. If we had known about the conditions, we would simply not have gone. Most likely, no one from Miracle himself was on this tour, did not live in these conditions and did not experience the program for himself (even the description of the places to visit according to the program was taken from another site). If you want to spoil your impression of such a wonderful country as Yemen, then buy a tour from Miracle.
