For the first time I visited the excursion of Saprykina Lyudmila. I chose an excursion to the Eliseev Palace, where the Taleon Hotel is now located. Many times I passed this building along Nevsky Prospekt, I saw the entrance from the side of the Moika. And so we managed to get inside with a tour from the company "Walks around St. Petersburg". I was pleasantly surprised that by my arrival the steward and the guide were already in place and very politely directed the actions of the tourists, helping to feel comfortable in such a prestigious institution as the Taleon Hotel. I really liked the guide Saprykina Lyudmila. A detailed excursion into the history of the Eliseev family along the branch of Stepan Petrovich Eliseev and an entertaining story about the architectural features of the building and the interior decoration of the premises. The guide did not forget the House of Arts and its inhabitants. Such a historically objective approach to the excursion was especially pleasing.
