Bravo Maldivian!!!
I express admiration for the position of the company and the work of its employees. Our "favorite" Aeroflot (flight SU 320) on July 28, 2012, due to the breakdown of the "new" Boeing 767, delayed us at Sheremetyevo for 9.5 hours !!!!! Moreover, the flight was postponed 3 or 4 times, telling tales that the plane would be repaired in another 2-3 hours.
So, Aeroflot's advice is how lucky it is, it's probably better to fly Qatar Airways with a stop in Doha or Emirates Airlines with a stop in Dubai.
And now the most important thing: we arrived in Male at 20:00 local time. Dark. Stuffy. All "connecting" flights were disrupted. (to our hotel it was necessary to fly by seaplane). The mood is worse than ever, they ruined the vacation. Nobody knows what to do. And there we are met by a girl from the "Maldiviana" - Maria. She turned out to have excellent organizational skills and a desire to help tourists + responsibility and knowledge of the local situation.
Looking ahead, I’ll say that I made an “offer” to work for her at our company and I’m not alone.
But he was refused, since she lives in Male and is married to some local.
In short, she, without fuss, very quickly and competently transported us to Male (by boat), and then by taxi to the hotel.
We were already waiting at the hotel. All received rooms and dinner on the roof of the hotel overlooking Male. And it's all at the expense of the Maldivians.
In the morning also without fuss, everything is in reverse order to the seaplanes.
When we arrived at the hotel, they were already waiting for us there and we were surprised to learn that we had been transferred from full board (FB) to all inclusive (all inclusive). We didn’t take all inclusive as I personally don’t feel like drinking alcohol in such heat and humidity.
It turns out that this girl, Maria, called all the hotels (where the tourists did not get on time) and asked each of them to do something for the tourists, "so they lost one day of light."
I know, some hotels upgraded the category of rooms, others added free tours, but we got all inclusive
By the way, during the rest, she was not too lazy to call and ask if everything was in order with us.
We are in Asia for the first time (we were neither in Turkey, nor in Egypt or Tunisia), since I thought that I needed to relax in Europe, it’s calmer for me, safer for my child and, in general, somehow stable and clean. So we vacationed every year in Europe. And here, for the exotic, they decided to go to the Maldives.
In short, then the rest was just great! Great hotel Vilamendhoo! Great house reef! Affectionate and amazing Indian Ocean in which my daughter and I swam for several hours every day!
And now I know for sure that if I want exotics again, then I will order “her” only in “Maldivian”. The quality and reliability of the travel company is manifested in a non-standard situation, and "Maldiviana" passed it perfectly!!!
And I also want to say that this is not a PR campaign or some kind of “order”, these are my personal impressions and feelings.
Once again, bravo Maldivian!!!
P.S. I traveled quite a lot and booked tours in various travel companies, including European ones (which have representative offices in Moscow), I don’t specifically write in which ones so that they don’t consider it to be “black” advertising and believe me, I have something to compare with.
