Huge, huge thanks to Tatyana from Seyclub for Russia for her reverent attitude to the organization of our trip!
We rested at the MAE with our whole large family of 8 people, including children of 12 and 3 years old. Tatyana advised two hotels: Villa Batista and Eden's holiday villas.
The first hotel is secluded and located in one of the most beautiful bays - Takamaka. Had a great time there for 4 days away from the hustle and bustle. The beach is big and clean. Large turtles live on the property. The disadvantage is that the hotel restaurant does not provide dinner, and on Monday they do not work at all))) I had to take care of dinner in advance.
The second hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from the port of Launey, the rooms offer awesome views of the neighboring islands. Before one of them, at low tide, we wade. All rooms have a kitchen. In the morning we bought fish from the fishermen right on the shore near the hotel and cooked fish soup and barbecue. The staff is responsive and friendly.
There is a waterfall next to the hotel. But it's not easy to get to it. The area around is private and we were led there by a local "guide" (of course for a fee). But, believe me, without him we would definitely not have gone there ... Jungles, mountains, hidden paths, thorny palm trees around, a mountain stream ... We experienced a little extreme, but it's worth it!
During the rest, we rented a car kia picanto (it is better to drive in small cars, because the roads are very narrow, without a shoulder. In some places, two cars cannot even pass). We traveled all over the island and concluded that our two hotels were the most successful on the island!
One day we met a local resident Mickey, he offered to take us for the whole day to Teresa Island. We gladly agreed! The day was unforgettable! His wife prepared barracuda, morning catch, octopus, salad and dessert for us.
On the last day of rest, we rented a yacht for the whole day, sailed around the islands and fished in the open ocean, ate cooked fish. Mmmm food!!!!
In general, thanks to the staff of Seyclub for Russia (especially Tatyana), as well as the staff of the host Mason's travel (especially Yulia), our vacation was unforgettable! Thanks a lot, everyone! See you soon! This was our first trip to the Seychelles, but not the last!!!!
