My situation was difficult. Firstly, the day before departure, the manager from the agency called me and said that my flight was rescheduled from 04:00 in the morning to 19.15 in the evening, that is, for the whole day. It turns out that I lose the whole day, for which I paid, and moreover, I overpaid on purpose, choosing a tour with this particular departure time. Naturally, they said that it was not their fault, but all questions to the carrier. As a result, when I arrived at the airport with my child, it turned out that the departure was at 20.00, then at 22.00, etc., we were kept at the airport until 2 am, then they took us to sleep for 4 hours in some hotel, while everyone was placed, there was no time to sleep. At 10.15 I just took off, the flight was actually delayed for a day and 6 hours. After all this, the travel agency returned 880 hryvnias and kopecks to me, although I wrote complaints and appeals, since one day of the tour with a child really cost me about $ 100 per day, no one is naturally going to return anything else. Some strange rules, because, as far as I know, other travel agencies return at least $ 50 per day (I know, because. my friends faced this), and I lost more than a day and no one reimbursed me anything, to extend my stay at the hotel for a day, the agency also refused. While I was at the hotel, we corresponded regularly with the manager, she said that she tried to do her best, but the rules are like that. Our carrier was UIA, and the manager convinced me when I bought the tour that this is the best carrier in Ukraine, these are the international airlines of Ukraine, in the end it turned out that they are the most expensive, and not very reliable, let's say so. And back, the flight was delayed by an hour. An hour is certainly not a day, and even with a child at the airport, in hotels, without clothes, without food. And in general, I chose the hotel myself, the manager did not make any effort to choose a tour, because I just came to the agency and said that I need this tour from such and such a date. There was no manager’s work here, she just sold me the tour that I chose in advance, no one was involved in the selection. After the "rest" I came to the agency myself and asked the manager for some form or application template for some kind of compensation, the manager did not even know the name of the company's general director, usually such applications are written in the name of the director. In general, everything is somehow strange, they didn’t have such templates, I had all the documents, photographs with me, I don’t know. . . . I will never fly through this agency again. They told me that UIA could reschedule the flight for 1-2 hours maximum, but in the end I lost a day and 6 hours. Awful of course, I have never had such a vacation.
