We rested in late July - early August 2015 in Khao Lak (Thailand). The tour was bought from Bilio Globus. Khao Lak is an hour and a half drive from Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket airport, a representative of Biblio Globus gave us a standard tourist kit - water, a local SIM card, an information memo, other useful little things and a list of possible sightseeing tours. Such a meeting, of course, pleasantly pleases the tourist and this is a plus for the company.

We felt the cons when we checked into the hotel. As it turned out, Biblio Globus guides do not go to Khao Lak to meet with newly arrived tourists. After all, it is far from Phuket, and all useful information was given out at the airport. The guide can come only if you have chosen a sightseeing tour and are ready to pay for it. And it is still unknown whether it will arrive, since, unfortunately, it was not possible to verify it in practice.

After looking at the listing of excursion trips offered to us, we decided that we wanted to go on a two-day excursion to Cheow Lan Lake, and called the guide. The tour guide Georgiy kindly told us that the trip would probably cost more than the listing suggested, as the listing shows prices for Phuket. Plus, since we are far away, you will need a personal transfer, which also costs money. The guide said that he would clarify everything and call back (it was on Monday, it is worth noting). Calling back a day later, in the evening, George said that the price of the tour would not change (5,900, it seems, baht per person), but the transfer would cost about 5,000 baht. This news did not surprise us and did not greatly upset us. It was frustrating that so far people are not recruited for an excursion (which is possible only on Fridays), so you should wait until Wednesday evening or Thursday afternoon, then it will become clear whether the trip will be possible.

We said that if the group did not get together, we would like to replace the trip to the lake with a trip to the islands (also two days, the same amount to be paid). Of course the guide promised to call back. And didn't call back. On Thursday morning, dialing Georgy's number, we heard a certain Alexei, who said that Georgy was abroad, but the group for the lake had not yet been recruited. Alexey said that he would keep us informed about the recruitment of the group, because there is still time until the evening. But for some reason Aleksey was not informed about our desire to go to the islands in case the group was not recruited to the lake. It turned out that all the places on the Friday islands were already taken, the group had gathered, but it would be possible to go next week on Tuesday. The guide said that he would definitely pick us up, shed light on two questions - the final answer for the group to the lake and the possibility of a trip to the islands on Tuesday. But he didn't get it.

As a result, we bought a tour to the islands at the hotel and did not call Biblio Globus representatives anymore. At the hotel, a tour to the islands is cheaper, the transfer was free, the guide, however, spoke English, but this is not a problem at all. Unfortunately, we never got to Cheow Lan Lake.

So, the sediment from communications with BG representatives remained, despite the warm welcome and the positive voice of the guides on the phone.

- why it was impossible to put a printout of trips for Khao Lak, and not Phuket, or not put anything at all without inflaming the tourist's interest

- the optionality of employees repels and does not help to build positive relationships, and in fact, as you know, an employee of a company is the face of a company.

I hope that Biblio Globus listens to the feedback from tourists and improves its quality of work and service.
