I decided one day to fulfill my old dream and visit Italy. Since I live in the Irkutsk region, I had to purchase a tour with a departure from Moscow from the tour operator "AMIGO-TOURS" and additionally buy tickets for the Irkutsk-Moscow-Irkutsk air flight. Tour of Italy for 8 days / 7 nights began on September 14, 2013. The departure of the Moscow-Rimini plane, until the last day, was at 16:40 Moscow time. What happened next is scary to remember. On September 13 in the morning (that is, the day before the departure from Irkutsk to Moscow), I received a call from the travel agency through which I bought this ticket, and they said that the flight to Italy was postponed as much as 12 hours earlier! Despite the fact that the tour operator informed the manager about the change in time at the very last moment! I had to buy a new ticket from Irkutsk to Moscow (imagine how much it cost me, because
tickets were on sale a few hours before departure, respectively, and their price was maximum), in a hurry to pack a suitcase and rush at full speed to the airport. You understand how much inconvenience I had to experience. The meeting party in Moscow handed me a ticket, a passport and a voucher for accommodation at the Manola Hotel and another program of acquaintance with Rimini, which again alerted me. The meeting party of "De Luxe Travel" upon arrival in Rimini did not meet us. I, as part of the whole group, waited at the airport for 4 hours for no reason. As a result, kind people from other companies attached us to their bus and took us to the hotel. At the hotel for about 4 hours we waited for the rooms to be prepared for us to check in. catastrophic shortage of staff. For 40 rooms - only 2 maids. If the changed program could still be experienced, then the Manola Hotel caused a lot of negative emotions.
Although it was indicated in advance that our hotel would be "Audi". Compare these two hotels in terms of comfort level. Heaven and earth. The room in which I lived was approximately 6.4 square meters in area. m. + bathroom with shower - 1.5 sq. Leaky towels, non-working air conditioning (by the way, they did not work in all rooms), meager, monotonous breakfasts during all days of stay. Tours start at 5:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. Breakfasts and dinners on the days of excursions were denied to us. Moreover, as it turned out, it is not customary to collect lunch boxes in this hotel, and not to anyone, there are not enough staff even at the reception. Personally, I did not receive 4 breakfasts and 4 dinners that I paid for in the tour.
The instructor-guide showed up a day later, collected money for the upcoming excursions and did not deal with us anymore, apart from faxes with messages about upcoming excursions.
Also, due to the fault of the meeting party of De Luxe Travel, I did not receive an excursion to San Marino included in the price of the tour. The guides are very competent professionals, but the organization of excursions leaves much to be desired - for a hundred people - one guide.
In addition to all of the above, due to constant flight delays, our tour was shortened by 1 day. Due to the rescheduling of the flight, I lost a considerable amount of money. Italy, as a country, is a wonderful place, but the attitude towards its customers overshadowed the whole vacation. There is no longer any desire to buy vouchers from the tour operator "AMIGO-TOURS", because In my opinion, they do not know how to work in this area at all.
Like any self-respecting person, I decided that it was impossible to leave all this just like that and wrote a complaint to the Tour operator "AMIGO-TOURS", with a detailed description of all the mistakes in their work. The answer shocked me.
According to them, it turns out that those meeting at the Rimini airport were that the entire group that flew in with me on the plane was picked up on time and taken to the hotel without delay, when in fact all the same people were sitting with me at the airport and waiting for when they will be remembered! The damage in which they estimated all my money and nerves spent was only 5 euros! Moreover, the question about the breakfasts and dinners I lost was completely ignored. Apparently, in order to somehow make amends, "AMIGO-TOURS" generously offered me a 5% discount on booking the next tour. I have never seen such arrogance and arrogance towards people. Therefore, I repeat once again: Tour operator "AMIGO-TOURS" has absolutely no respect for people who purchase tours from them. I will never use their services again and would not recommend anyone to deal with this suspicious company.
