I want to write a review about the Trieltour travel agency, with which my family had a chance to spend the New Year holidays of 2018-19 on the Mysterious Caucasus tour. To say that the organization of the tour was ugly would be an understatement. I encountered such a nightmare for the first time, in the long history of my travels on bus tours in Russia, and especially in Europe, so I can teach many guides about the quality organization of the tour. It all started with a tiring road and a disgusting bus, in which the windows were freezing and flowing in streams, I woke up at night from the fact that the entire left side of the jacket was soaked through, and my feet in winter boots froze. Yes, and stops every 3 hours, which lasted from 30 minutes to 2 hours with the door open to the bus, as the guide-accompanying was in no hurry, and did not stop smoking near the bus.
By the end of the road, my youngest daughter froze and got sick, I had to treat her with what I had with me, it’s good that I myself am a doctor and don’t go anywhere without a first aid kit. So, the so-called accompanied guide didn’t give a damn about all the tourists, since she was traveling with her grandson, as well as his godmother, who eventually turned out to be the director of the company Alla Fomenko, who traveled with her husband, the owner of the bus IP Fomenko S.V. , at the beginning of the tour they behaved incognito and Alla even loudly announced that she was an ordinary tourist, only then it was not clear why she interfered in organizational issues that the escort could not and did not want to solve, but the Internet was a “huge force” that helped to bring everyone out of the “darkness ”, By the way, the guide’s name is Elena, a clumsy elderly woman who is too lazy to move, all the questions had the same answer, that she is not responsible for this, does not know anything and must be someone else.
Neither her phone nor the company's emergency phone could be knocked out of her.
Finally arriving at the Gloria Hotel and checking into the rooms, it turned out that there was no water, water was given in an hour (by the way, in the following days the pressure was such that it was possible to wash only if you sat down on the bottom of the shower cabin), about the postponed time of the first excursions we had to learn from the guide of the second bus, a wonderful woman named Olga Alexandrovna, who cared not only for the tourists of her bus, but also for ours, only thanks to her, in the future, many races were poorly carried out, in particular to temples, so how it is an integral part of our culture and not to visit the city and not to stop by the central temple is blasphemy. Elena again did not care about the fact that all tourists were aware of the time of departure for the tour.
After I had to drag her by force so that she could deal with the announced visit to the so-called "Suvorov baths", it turned out that they were closed that day and we could only visit thermal springs. With grief in half, we got there, enjoyed it.
But the most absurd thing was that this Elena collected money for a visit, not knowing who, without even writing down the names, and ran around with bulging eyes for a long time, looking for who didn’t give it to her. Nobody said about the time of collection either, people ran around the bus, some ran to a cafe, some to a store. The chaos is incredible, and she was walking peacefully with her grandson. The next day, the situation improved a little, maybe because people began to resent, by the way, I told the whole bus who A was.
Fomenko, and announced that I would file a claim with the travel agency and higher courts about the poor performance of the company's duties to tourists or her conscience erupted, but she took most of the organization into her own hands.
The order of arrivals in the cities and excursions were all changed, but the most “funny” thing is that neither Elena nor Alla had a complete idea of the tour program at all, Alla took this program from my children to read what was written in the company. On the request to let me get acquainted with the modified program, which should be with the accompanying guide, I did not wait for an answer at all, the request was simply ignored. The next days passed quite interestingly and calmly, although there was no order for the times of gathering tourists, there was no time to send the bus for this or that excursion, the bus was constantly delayed, late, compared to the spoiled first day, these were trifles.
How could you take such a person as an accompanying guide, who didn’t know anything about the tour at all, neither the program, nor the objects, just nothing. The only day when order reigned in the bus and complete unity of tourists was the day when Elena and Alla, with their company, left the bus and we traveled until the evening without them, no one spoiled anything for us, everyone came on time. The entire declared program was not rolled back qualitatively anyway, there was no high-quality excursion around Pyatigorsk, it was all fragments and running, the promised free one on December 31 on the square in Essentuki was not at all, Nalchik was also a crumpled excursion. I really liked the sightseeing day with arrivals in Grozny and objects on the way to it.
But the last crying indifference of these two ladies was waiting on the way back. A thousand kilometers from Nizhny Novgorod, the bus broke down. It was 12 o'clock at night.
At the next sanitary stop, it was announced that we were standing for 15 minutes, not to go far. The doors are open, the frost is 7 degrees, it costs 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, the bus does not go, and only from my son-in-law, who went out for a walk, I find out that the bus has broken down. It's good that my eldest daughter reached the dining room and agreed to allow people to come in to warm up, although this should have been done by a representative of the travel agency. So these two ladies Elena and Alla sat there together and had fun when another tourist, freezing either in a cold bus or on the street, came in, as her daughter came out and called everyone. It's good that everything ended well and the drivers managed to fix the bus, although more than 2 hours were lost.
Dear tourists, I give you advice from a person who has traveled more than a hundred thousand kilometers on bus tours from various travel agencies and tour operators, if you are not ready to face the above and cannot resist the current situation, it is better to think a thousand times and go from another company. Fortunately, there are many of them in our market. It was a big mistake on my part that I did not read much about the Triel Tour company before paying for the tour, as it turned out there were a lot of negative reviews, I just really liked the proposed program, especially the arrival in Grozny attracted attention. Despite all of the above, the trip was wonderful and memorable. Everything depends on you. Do not repeat my mistakes and I wish you all wonderful travels!
