I came to TUI to buy a tour for the summer from the Labyrinth just like to intermediaries. There was an early booking and I simply chose a nearby office (metro Oktyabrskoye Pole) that sells the package I needed. I must say right away - there are no complaints about the Labyrinth, everything, as always, is excellent :)
I paid for the summer in full, at the same time I wanted to buy a tour for the May holidays already from TUI. We decided to go to Turkey, we have never been there, we ride around Europe more. A hotel was chosen, dates agreed. I discussed with the manager that we have a non-standard situation - departure from Moscow, arrival - St. Petersburg. I asked - can you do this? Yes, we can, with a small surcharge. Ok, let's arrange. I fully pay for the tour, the manager arranges everything, confirmation should be the next day, to which she kindly offers to call, despite her day off.
We call up, the tour is confirmed along with our "crooked" flight, everything is ok.
My husband and I arrange a weekend for ourselves, which is a huge problem for us, it was very difficult for us to combine everything for a joint holiday. Done, agreed.
A few days later, a call is heard from our manager with a request.. to pay 10 tr. He answers my questions that tickets have not been bought, that they will be more expensive, etc. OK. let's fly to Moscow for the old price. They cannot make an arrival in Moscow and generally offer to choose another hotel, because. there are already no places in that one, but they have not booked it yet. This is all with a fully paid and confirmed tour for hot dates !!!!! I contacted the main office - they said who screwed up with the tickets - let him from the managers pay extra. No one paid anything extra, they returned the money. A couple of weeks before the May holidays, it was already impossible to buy something worthy for the right dates - the rest, planned with such difficulty, was gone.
Yes, the manager apologized - but to no avail.
The office manager generally behaved according to the principle "the best defense is an attack."
What can I say.. just a disgusting job. Incompetent, out of control. People don't answer at all but what they do. And this is a tour operator selling their own tours.
Interestingly, later, when the issue of resting on May holidays was generally removed - I scored a hotel in some search engine - there were places for the right dates, for those for which, according to tui, "there are no places"
And yes, about countries, hotel managers can only tell what everyone can read on the site, a couple of lines and that's it.
I travel a lot - I have not met with a worse version of the tour operator.
