Back in April, I planned a vacation at the end of June in Italy in Lido di Jesolo. And I managed to buy the TUI tour. Upon receipt of the documents, it turned out that the flight was carried out by the Bashkortostan airline. The flight was delayed for 16 (!!!) hours without explanation. At the same time, it was postponed several times during the day, so I had to monitor the scoreboard of Domodedovo Airport all day and spend a sleepless night (the departure instead of 2 pm on Saturday took place at 6 am on Sunday). Looking ahead, I’ll say that the return flight was also delayed, although not so much.
The TUI website has wonderful information that in case of a flight delay of more than 12 hours, the company provides monetary compensation, and an official letter of apology from the company + wine and fruit in the room will be waiting for you at the hotel. This is pure deception! Nothing of the kind happened, despite calls to the TUI hotline. Now I'm trying to get a refund.
They offer almost half the amount stated on the site.
