This company is cheating tourists.

We bought a tour with an early booking promotion in February. On September 2, a week before departure, they wrote to us that the trip was canceled due to overbooking. The manager suggested replacement hotels. We agreed. The manager is gone. On September 5, we were sent a letter of guarantee, according to which they promised to return the money by September 17. The money was not returned. We sent a claim to the travel agent and also reported to the police. At the same time, 6 more people were found on the Internet, with whom the travel agent acted according to the same scheme and also did not return the money. Together we sent collective complaints to the prosecutor's office and Rospotrebnadzor. Also, everyone individually filed statements with the police and sent complaints. Someone has already filed a lawsuit.

The most interesting thing is that the Tripcafe travel agency continues to operate: although the office has been closed since August, they send mailings to Telegramm and publish information about hot tours on the website.

I would like to warn their potential clients, because in addition to money, we ourselves have lost a lot of nerve cells in this story. It is also completely incomprehensible why reputable tour operators continue to work with them. (Tripcafe also has a lot of debts to legal entities, two or three court cases against them have already been won.)
