Some quotes from the program and comments Garden of 15 stones

Day 1 It would be nice if those who meet them immediately identify themselves with something, and you don't have to go and shout their names to find them.

I found out that it was possible to buy a SIM card for a phone at the airport 20 days after my arrival from Japan to Moscow. The guide told someone about this at the Narita airport, but someone didn’t. I didn’t ask, because I read on the Internet before the trip that the Japanese do not sell or rent SIM cards to tourists for a few days, only to those who have arrived for a long time. Guide Igor answered all the questions, so everyone will gather, then he will tell everyone everything, but he will not tell everyone individually. That's all so plainly and did not gather ....

“In the evening we share our impressions of getting to know the city in a famous cafe”?, I don’t remember this. Just a cafe next to the hotel.

Fujiyama National Park - Kawaguchiko...

After that, we will definitely visit a unique village with traditional Japanese houses with a thatched roof, where you can try on kimonos and samurai armor for a photo against the backdrop of magnificent Fuji. "We were not shown a traditional village with thatched roofs, and did not even mention them. But there was dinner, and even if there was change left, after everyone chipped in, it wouldn't be distributed.

"Moving to the cultural center of Japan - the city of Kyoto

The rooms have a traditional look - the floor is lined with tatami (straw mats), and the doors are shoji (bamboo grates pasted over with thin paper). "The doors were ordinary, which is good. "After staying in an unusual hotel, we set off to explore the numerous sights of the city, rock gardens and botanical gardens". The most famous in the whole world, but not for the guides of this company, we never saw the garden of 15 stones.

Moreover, everyone looked at us as idiots who did not know what we wanted.

"Tired of history, we go to the most famous quarter of Gion, famous for Japanese cafes with tea ceremonies, which we will definitely taste, and geisha entertaining tourists." Well, if we hadn't begged our guides to show us the tea ceremony, we wouldn't have seen it. And that was on another day.

And this day is the 1st day in Kyoto. We were promised lunch or time for lunch, but there was none, and then the guide Igor promised the whole group that since lunch did not work out, then we would have a hearty dinner. It gave hope. But when we continued to follow the guides along the central and expensive streets of Kyoto and we can already say we fell from fatigue and hunger and asked to be told where we could eat and where our promised dinner was (it is clear that we pay for dinner ourselves), We were told , want to eat? The whole city is at your disposal.

Dark autumn evening and we are in this city for the first time.

We are on the main street, naturally the most expensive and ostentatious. We just wanted to eat, and we didn’t have the strength to look for something new ourselves. Again we tearfully begged our guides to show us an acceptable cafe. They agreed. We were led not far from our hotel to a wonderful cafe, where we then had dinner all the days in Kyoto.

It is not clear why subject the members of the group to constant humiliation? This greatly spoiled the impression of the trip.

We bought our breakfasts in shops. Some cooked in the hotel. But we didn't get to have lunch. 1.5 hours were given free time. During this time, look at the place, and find where to eat, and run to the meeting point in order to leave and not get lost. The guide could show while walking: here you can have lunch here or here. There was no such service. We were simply offered the whole city.

"Amazing Japanese city - Nara"

Here we were told when we reached the middle of the city that we would meet somewhere near the station. WHY not immediately show this point until you have passed it ??? They began to specify where exactly. On the street near the station or at the station itself or near the station? Subjected to the contemptuous glance of the guides and the majority of the group. Then we were told: at Starbucks. On that they parted for free time.

When it was time to leave, we walked towards the station, looking for Starbucks along the way. We saw people from the group and followed them. They took us to the station. We stood near the information center of Nara. Looking around, we did not see any Starbucks. After waiting for the guides, we asked, where is Starbucks? We were shown a large white poster with many different logos, including Starbucks. Sincerely.

Day 6 everything is fine

Day 7 "Moving to the city of samurai and entertainment Osaka

We have breakfast in the morning, pack our things and drive to the city of Osaka "Before leaving ... When the group gathered, we always arrived among the first. It was then that we ran after everyone and did not have time. The guides rushed without turning around, bypassing escalators and elevators at some points. As I noticed one member of the group, among us was a member of 60+ with a cane. This was of little concern. We ran up and down the stairs to keep up with the group. Thanks to the guide Yura, he looked after the laggards.

But before leaving for Osaka, when everyone had already packed their bags, and another member of our group, who had also packed his suitcase, was a little late for 5 minutes. in the toilet, the guide Yura, when we asked to wait for a person, aggressively literally attacked us, stating that we were detaining everyone ourselves, and when we had to wait for someone, we were allegedly dissatisfied. ??? How can this be, if from the beginning of the trip, we were only for waiting for everyone, even because we ourselves were slow.

This vicious aggressiveness towards us also spoiled the impression very much. If you, dear guides, got up on your feet, this is no reason to vent your bad mood on the participants of the trip.

"Osaka, which is historically the trading capital of Japan and, at present, is one of the main industrial centers and largest ports in the country. The main attraction of the city is the 5-storey samurai castle with an interesting museum. other places of interest that may be of interest to group members."

It would be good if the guides gathered us and said there on the spot that you can visit such and such. It is located there and there. Pass in such and such a way.

But again it turned out ugly. As if we obsessively pester the guides. But is it their job? We said we were going downstairs. We have gathered. We are told free software. How?

It's our first day in Osaka and we've NEVER been here. I had to stick to the guides to tell us how to get to the samurai castle.

Also a strange question. Why did we have to be in the pose of begging all the time? We were told that maybe we want to sleep in the hotel. Yes, we traveled so far and expensively for this. How does the tongue turn so rude? Further, the guide voiced his position that he was not interested in all these museums and castles. Question? Why did you go with the group then? Ride around the world wherever you want. So you wrote the program, do you charge money for your work as a guide? And by the way, having received information about the way to the samurai castle, we saw half of our group on the train, who was going to the samurai castle.

"Hiroshima and Miyajima Island...where the Itsukushima Water Temple is located, creating the illusion that the temple is floating through the ages on the waters of the Sea of Japan." How beautifully written.

How about telling the group that you can go for a walk, and close to 3 o'clock BUY a ticket to this temple to see the temple in the water due to the TIDE? We live in another land, we do not know that there is a tide here, which starts after 3. And you've been here supposedly for the third year. What didn't they know? And then what are you guides of Japan. Even if in two years they couldn’t buy an adapter for an electrical outlet, and they asked us all the time, which didn’t stop you from being rude to us.

It was very disappointing to wander there without water, having bought a ticket. And when the water came up, and it was very beautiful, it was somehow expensive to buy a ticket a second time.

What good guides, they told about everything.

And now the most interesting. How is the plan thought out?

Many of the group asked why return to not the most convenient hotel in Osaka, and not go straight to Tokyo? What's the difference, well, we'll arrive at night in Tokyo. But in the morning we will calmly go to Nikko.

In the morning from Osaka on 4 transports we rush through Tokyo to Nikko.

Notice - no one looks back at the 60+ participant. Jump from train to train, from ladder to ladder. Of course, she didn't use the escalators to keep up with the group.

Several times I asked what time we would return to Tokyo from Nikko. The guide Igor kindly answered me that at seven we would already be in Tokyo. In the morning I asked again before leaving for Nikko. He replied that there was nothing to do in Nikko later than 5 pm, it was getting dark, and therefore, of course, we would return to the hotel at 7 pm. It was important to me, I made an appointment. It's good that I wrote a note to be expected until 21.00. So we arrived around 21.

When we finally arrived at Nikko Park, the first thing Igor said was: “So, we are going to 18.00 from Nikko.” There is no faith or trust in these people anymore. There are blatant lies at every turn. At the same time looking at you like the last fool.

Plane from Tokyo to Moscow

Waking up in the morning, we have breakfast, pack our bags and go by train to Narita Airport."

We collect our things and take the train to the airport. Again, there were nerves to the last, whether they were going to the train or not. It shouldn't be like this with NERVES.

Thank God, they did. Thanks Yura.

And the wonderful manner of the guides. When we were traveling in public transport, and we didn’t have another, before getting off at the right stop, we were informed about this in 5 minutes at best. And then and so ... the doors open - we leave. And we had to convulsively watch, without looking away, whether we were going out to the guides or not. Most of the group twitched. Rarely, when they said - we drive for an hour, get off at the 7th stop, for example.
