For the May holidays (from May 1 to May 3, 2015) we decided to use the services of the travel company "Kuznetsky Most" and go on a sightseeing tour "Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan". The quality organization of the trip is completely unfamiliar to this company, starting from a bus without air conditioning in the heat, an unprofessional guide Alexander Sergeevich Petrov, who not only does not have historical information on the route, but also cannot collect tourists after short sanitary stops, and did not even help please call the exact pick up time on the bus. MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE DRIVER WORK FOR 18 HOURS A DAY WITHOUT A SHIFT, RISKING THE LIFE OF PASSENGERS! The absence of any organization was discovered already on the way to the bus, when the managers in the memo made a mistake in indicating the meeting place, and each of the 50 tourists in search of the bus called the guide. Then, for almost 40 minutes, they waited for the sightseers who did not come.
In our opinion, the waiting time for late tourists should be fixed. The bus was after an accident, smashed in the back. Before departure, the guide collected 350 rubles per person for entrance tickets to the Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan Kremlin. On the spot it turned out that the entrance is free. It was assumed that we would reach Vladimir, through which the route to Nizhny Novgorod passed, in 2.5-3 hours. Taking into account traffic jams, we drove to Vladimir for 8 hours, and got to Nizhny Novgorod in 12 hours. In Vladimir there was a lunch for an additional fee, which, as the guide said, was generously put in the refrigerator for us so that it would not spoil, i.e. food not served freshly prepared. Of course, you can make a discount on the ubiquitous traffic jams. However, this travel agency has been organizing such a tour for several years, which means that it could plan it taking into account holiday traffic jams.
After all, an excursion was planned for the evening in Nizhny Novgorod, which, in view of our late arrival, successfully failed. As the guide told us, it will be transferred to us in the morning, where the second excursion was already standing. Total: instead of 2 full-fledged educational excursions, we got 1.5 hours of an incredibly short excursion. We must pay tribute to the local guide, who tried to convey to us bits of information as quickly as possible in a very limited time, but the impression was blurred, despite the fact that Nizhny Novgorod is very beautiful. It took 8 hours to Kazan instead of the promised 4 hours, although there were no traffic jams. The bus was moving very slowly, it was felt that even a small hill was given to the old bus with great difficulty. Guide Alexander Sergeevich did not say a word about at least some information about the cities through which we passed, we drove in complete silence. And it's called a tour!
Lunch for all the tourists was around 12 noon, and then until the evening they did not give the tourists time to have dinner! Although the driver himself ate a full meal at the next sanitary stop, the tourists were not told about this possibility, since everyone thought that they had stopped for 5 minutes. Hungry people went on a night tour of the city, after which there was a settlement. The sanatorium in which we were accommodated turned out to be an hour's drive from Kazan. Only now the driver did not know where to go, and we were looking for a way! It’s good that the emergency service noticed our wanderings at night and helped us get to the Volga sanatorium. Arriving almost at midnight, we were finally settled, but there were 5 hours left to sleep. In the morning we ate "breakfast": a pale sausage and salty millet porridge.
At 10 o'clock there was a tour of the Kazan Kremlin, then free time, and in the evening the second tour, and it was supposed to be scheduled during the day, but the travel agency did not agree with the guide, so there was a hitch. The driver took us on excursions all day, and at night he had a long journey to Moscow! He worked almost all day! Conclusion: if you want to get a quality, and most importantly, safe trip, you definitely should not contact the Kuznetsky Most company!
