I flew from Chelyabinsk through the travel agency RossTour, with the tour operator Pegas Touristik. Initially, I took a tour for six nights, but unlike people whose days are taken away, they gave me two more for free (although after talking with experienced tourists, I realized that I paid a lot for six nights in a 4 * hotel in Taba). And they said in advance, probably two weeks (maybe three).
The organization as a whole was very good, the flight Chelyabinsk - Sharm was on time, the transfer was also in order. On the way from Sharm to Taba, the Arab who met us entertained us with a conversation about local life and politics, so that time passed unnoticed.
The Holiday Taba hotel, as it is known from the reviews about it, is serviced exclusively by Pegasus in terms of excursions, however, the Arabs scared me so much that it never occurred to me to negotiate with Ahmed.
Yes, it's expensive.
But by the way, the organization of excursions to Israel and Jordan was at its best, and I would express my gratitude to the excellent guides if I remembered their names. Fed from "not bad" at the Dead Sea to "excellent" in Palestine. In the Jordanian hotel Aqaba Gulf Hotel, the food really didn’t matter, and they ripped off 5 bucks for tea (!). But I drank a beer for another 10 dollars in the Irish bar "Oxigen" around the corner and forgot about it :) I also received half a dinar of change as a keepsake.
But the Egyptian excursion to Mount Moses and the monastery of St. Catherine let us down. The local guide spoke monstrous Russian, trying to briefly tell us the contents of the Old Testament. I especially remember how God created "zvir" (animals, that is). On the mountain, the shortcomings of our guide were not felt - he did not go there with us. His place was taken by a Bedouin boy (who, by the way, spoke Russian much better). Well, the monastery...
all the guides turned out to be on the same face and equally eloquent, so I lost ours and basically searched for my bus.
A couple of "problems" (even ashamed to call them problems, comparing with what they write here), were during the return flight. The flight was delayed, as usual, but I managed to have dinner at the hotel, otherwise the guy from Pegasus was afraid that we would be left hungry (check-out was at 18.45, dinner at the hotel at 19.00, and something did not work out with the promised food for those departing).
And it also seemed to me that on the way back on the plane they didn’t feed, but maybe I overslept it.
