My wife and I flew to Thailand (Pattaya) in February 2012 from Sunrise C, the cost of the tour cost about 90,000.0 rubles. (tickets 52,000.0 rubles for two and a voucher with an additional payment for two weeks another 34,000.0 plus minor expenses), it seems a little expensive, but then they were interested in prices and it turned out that, in principle, it’s normal, given that the T1 apartments are 92 sq. m. with two rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. But the most unpleasant thing was that upon arrival at the hotel we had to leave a deposit for the safety of the room 500 EURO, it was a shock for us, i.e. in addition to the money that we have to take with us on vacation, we still had to leave a good amount just like that, of course it was returned at the end of the vacation, but such investments were not included in our budget. Initially, of course, there were many doubts and worries, but what to do when 34,000 had already been given away, and these articles on the internet with one negative, but we decided to go to the end and not drag it out much.

In October, we buy tickets, through Sunrise C, under the agreement you can buy them yourself, but we didn’t risk it, and now the days of waiting began, we didn’t read anything else, what will be will be. February is approaching, a call to the mobile phone, from the other end of the wire, a cute girl's voice "Greetings from Sunrise C, you have planned a vacation in Thailand on such and such a date, etc., etc." we were very pleased with the call, because closer to the rest were going to call themselves. About three days before departure, a call from Thailand, again a girl and again everyone is waiting for us, explains how they will meet us, how much money we need to take, what they plan to show us, where to take us (although the official program is expensive and boring in several parts, the whole in restaurants, dinners and all sorts of crap, of course this did not suit us and we ourselves changed the program to the one we wanted, along with the guide of course).

The Thais flew in, met us, escorted us to the minibus, where our guides were waiting for us and another couple. Our guide's name was Vladimir, a great guy, great respect to him. We arrived in Pattaya, checked into a hotel, a great room (of course, Thailand is not Turkey and an awesome room for which you have to overpay, you don’t need it there, because this is not a hotel holiday (eat and sleep), but more active and you come to the room to change clothes and sleep, but nevertheless it was nice and clear what we paid for. while my wife was sorting out bags, Vladimir helped me buy a SIM card, briefly told where you can eat cheaper, where it’s more expensive, where it’s better and more profitable to exchange bucks.

On this we parted for a short time, about an hour later we met, discussed where we would like to go, compiled a program of excursions, showed us where the Institute for the Blind does massage, in the evening showed how you can spend an evening on the beach, in Thailand it’s like in Russia in a park, who sings, who walks, and who bathes.

It was very nice that we were not taken on excursions in large groups, about three to four couples in a minibus, the guides were always with us, with the rare case when the excursions were conducted by Thais.

The rest was rich, interesting, we never regretted that we overpaid, no one deceived us, of course, Vladimir regularly persuaded us to become members of the club, but we did not agree, because. regular membership fees were not included in our plans yet, but it was not intrusive, it's just the way he works.

Maybe it's time to sum it up.

I liked the rest, there was no deception, one minus is no breakfast, and in the morning in Thailand it is very difficult to find a cafe.

I'm not going to advise something, because doubts are present to the last, and we are not used to such a vacation yet. And those who write that this is a scam, they just didn’t try and didn’t go, but you can go at least once ...
