With Anex Tour I went for the first and last time!
I took a tour to Thailand from Yekaterinburg (Bangkok-Pattaya) October 28 - November 8, 2011. In Bangkok, I met the guide Alexei, very sociable, immediately offered several excursions, not forgetting to mention that Anex is even cheaper than coming and buying a ticket in ticket office (in particular, to the aquarium and to the observation deck of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel), wrote out vouchers and disappeared. I didn't see the guide again. In fact, it turned out that tickets are still cheaper at the box office. But they were flowers. Then there was a transfer to Pattaya without a guide (!), Only with a Thai carrier, who did not understand either Russian or English. In Pattaya, the group settled in three hotels and in none of them (!) We were met by the hotel guides of Aneks. I settled in the Ambassador. Everyday questions arose - who to contact?! .. Okay, we survived. After a couple of days, I wanted a cultural program (I mean excursions), so beautifully described on the Anex website.
At the information stand of Aneks in the hotel there was an empty place, there were stands of other tour operators nearby and on each of them (!) There was information about the hotel guide with his contacts (I filmed this disgrace on video, I can provide it for the management of Aneks as a guide for further work). I had to realize my spiritual needs through competitors. But the day before departure came. The next day, at 11 am, the plane, and we don’t know what time we will be picked up from the hotel, the information stand is still empty!!! I call my friends in another hotel (who also didn’t see their guide from Anex, but somehow got his phone number) and through them (and not through the guide!) I get information about the transfer to the airport !!! Complete mess!!! But the surprises didn't end there. Already on the plane I found out that our flight was not direct, but with landing for refueling in Astana (!), Although the ticket indicated a non-stop flight!
As a result, instead of 8 hours on the plane, we spent 12! I made a conclusion for myself: I won’t use the services of Anex anymore and I won’t advise them to anyone, it’s better to overpay money for a ticket to another tour operator, but I will feel like a person on vacation!
