Tour selection in Spain

I chose a tour to Spain in August on the company's website. 2013, called the travel agency and clarified the details. Everything suited. Then I arrived at an office convenient for me in terms of location on the street. Yesenina 12 and after the manager checked the possibility of acquiring the tour, they signed a contract and I paid 100% of the cost. (There was less than a week left before departure.) It remained the next day to receive confirmation from the hotel. The next day in the afternoon, the manager called back and said that this hotel had not been confirmed, and there were no more options in the same price range. I urgently run away from work and in the presence of the manager I choose a new tour option, which is already 30% more expensive, but the conditions seem to be more attractive! Again, it remains to wait for confirmation of the hotel! The next day, in the middle of the day, I already call myself and try to find out first, and then hurry up with the result.

But I get, let's say, not a polite answer at all, that as soon as the operator answers, they will immediately inform me. As a result, also in the afternoon report that the hotel is not confirmed! Asked to pick up and report other similar options! More time passes! Now there are only tour options for another 30% more expensive!! As a result, instead of a tour for 68 tr, they began to offer me tours from 125 tr and more! He said that in this case I refuse the tour and want to take the money. But it turns out that I can get money only at the central office, upon application and according to the concluded agreement within 10 days! As a result of “negotiations” with the financial director of the company, as an exception, we managed to get money that day and urgently go to another company (a tour operator, not an intermediary), where both the tickets and the hotel were immediately confirmed at reasonable prices! Findings:

- I can’t say for sure that such a 2-fold increase in the cost of the tour was done intentionally by the Sea of ​​the Sun company or it’s just really a coincidence.

- no matter how convincing and tempting the tour is to pay only the minimum advance. The rest upon receipt of tickets and vouchers.

- arrange a tour with a tour operator in the country of your choice. Travel agencies intermediaries send their requests to tour operators, and they, in turn, first deal with clients who directly contacted them, and only then process applications from representatives!
