We went from 18-19.07 to the marble canyon of Ruskeala by a company of 10 people with the travel agency "KareliaGid" ( http://kareliagid.ru/). Wonderful reviews on the site and in contact about this travel agency, only now it’s clear why, first they ask to send a review in a personal message. A prerequisite was accommodation in 2-bed rooms in the same hotel. We booked everything in advance, the travel agency confirmed the availability. Two days before the trip, having called the travel agency, we accidentally find out that they decided to put our entire company in a cottage for 8 people + 2 extra beds (probably in the corridor). Everyone was horrified! How did they imagine living 10 people (unfamiliar - we went together for a birthday, but most of the people saw each other for the first time) in a house with 1 toilet and shower??? It's hard to say .... The mood was spoiled! The travel agency manager could not explain how it all happened.
To our indignation and demand to somehow resolve the issue, the answer was excellent: “What do you want from me? So that I apologize - Well, I'm sorry .... ". They offered to go on another day, but we went to celebrate a birthday, and another date did not suit us at all. As a result, 8 beds in a cottage + 2-bed room. Go…. The bus is a separate issue. We didn’t have time to drive off - we felt a burn in the cabin, the pads began to rub - it turned out they were changed, of course, they didn’t check .... They asked the guide, don’t they check the technical serviceability before the trip ?, - the answer is: “I am not responsible for the pads, which bus we were given, we went on that one ....” And if they gave a cart with horses???? Let's go on it??? Isn't the travel agency responsible for providing its customers with a normal bus??? It had a terrible sound, we did not hear the guide, then on a dirt road the whole bus was covered in dust inside .... Food - they feed better in school canteens ....
As a result, the organization of the tour by this travel agency can be estimated at 2 points !!! This is a company where NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING!!! Karelia itself is a wonderful place to relax, the conclusion is that it is better to travel by yourself :)))
