We were looking for a tour to Novgorod, for the right dates we were only in this office. The problems started when we booked. The manager offered 2 payment methods: at the office or to a Sberbank card, they chose it on a card, they said they would send an SMS with the card number, after payment they would call back and hang up.. They sent an SMS, they didn’t indicate the amount - I had to calculate it myself. , the amount turned out to be incorrect, tickets to the museum and for lunch were also a plus - they said to pay extra on the bus.

Then it got worse .. In the evening the day before, they sent an SMS with the bus number and landing place: M. Moscow stop is some kind of there (there was no exact address) Tk get up early in the morning and go quite far, we decided to take a taxi, calculated the time, arrived at the indicated stop, no bus. The guide managed to get through on the 6th time, it turned out the bus was in a completely different place, in the end I had to walk a fair distance.

It turned out that all the tourists were sent one place, and the guide another ..

While walking, we froze, we decided "hooray, you can relax and sleep"

But it wasn’t there .. I was immediately embarrassed that the bus was shabby and not at all “comfortable”. It was immediately said that it was cold due to the fact that the bus had been standing on the street all night - it would soon heat up. After 20 minutes, people began to resent, to which they said "I'm a guide, I can't fix the bus, don't heat it up" The driver promised to look at the bus stop (this is in an hour). By this time, everyone was already blue, at the bus stop they went to warm themselves with tea in a cafe. The heating was not fixed, they said they could not get through to the owner of the bus. It froze outside, it was -8. While we were walking around the sights, we froze, and it was unbearable to get on a cold bus. The bus was changed at 2 o’clock (i.e. from 7.30 to 14.00 is 6 hours !!! we were freezing)

The only plus point was the tour guide, Nina.

She spoke very interestingly, it was pleasant to listen to (unlike Lyudmila, who was traveling with us from St. Petersburg - a very unpleasant person). The weather was also great and the photos turned out great. I think that with a normal company, the impressions would be positive.

And again to the unpleasant .. As it was written in one of the reviews, lunch for 350r did not pull in any way either in quality or in portion size. We had to find another place ourselves. Lunch by the way was at 4 o'clock, almost dinner.

Then there was a "tasting" .. It was some kind of cheap alcohol market. The staff grumbled at the guide that they were not ready, that they had not been warned in advance, while 48 people crowded into the small shop. The drinks themselves were not for everyone (rowan on cognac, local balm). But people decided that they shouldn’t miss a freebie and needed to somehow cheer themselves up, and ran into plastic cups.

The warm bus seemed like heaven after a day in the cold, and we settled down to sleep.

But our miracle guide decided to turn on the TV at full volume with some stupid Russian movie. It's good that you had headphones with you and the music successfully drowned out the noise of the TV. But not everyone had headphones, and not everyone managed to sleep.

Bottom line: minus 6000, minus a week for sick leave (the body still could not stand it), plus a tick that they were in Novgorod.
