I want to talk about how Mouzenidis Travel steals money from tourists and why it is better not to contact them.
In August, I had the opportunity to go to the sea for a week. In Kyiv, I bought an inexpensive tour to Greece from Mouzenidis Travel. The package included flights, transfers and hotel accommodation. Breakfast was not included in the price of the tour and the agent offered me to pay extra for breakfast. I planned several excursions and asked if it would be possible to get a “dry ration” breakfast with an early departure, the agency assured me that this was guaranteed, you just need to warn the hotel administration about this in advance.
Unpleasant surprises began immediately upon arrival at the hotel ("Metropole Hotel", Loutraki, Pieria). On the bus, the Mouzenidis representative said that the "hotel guide" would meet us (5 people) at 6pm. We waited for almost an hour, called the guide (Marutova Nina) and it turned out that she would appear only at 8. The excursions of Mouzenidis, which she offered us, cost 2-3 times more than similar ones offered by local agencies and not a single question, except for the sale of excursions, she did not answer.
The next day we bought excursions from a local agency and I approached the hotel owner and asked him to prepare "lunch packages" for us the next day. His answer amazed me: he asked with what company we were going on an excursion, and when he heard that it was not Mouzenidis, he said that we would not receive the breakfasts that we paid for Mouzenidis.
I called Marutova and explained what the problem was, she said that she would come and sort it out. But she did not come, but sent another Mouzenidis employee. His name is Melikidis Leonidas. He refused to help us and said that if we want to receive the breakfasts that Mouzenidis paid for, we MUST ASK (!) the owner of the hotel about it.
The story is banal, cheap, but on the part of Mouzenidis it is dirty, dishonest competition and theft of money from tourists.
