Good day gentlemen!
We wanted to have a good rest in Turkey after our wedding. We turned to a local travel agency that collaborated with Pegasus. They did not know then that 12 hours of flight would turn into hard labor. Yes, this is from Irkutsk, but we still have half a day to get to Irkutsk. And having arrived in Turkey, not knowing Turkish with meager English, it is still not very easy to figure it out. In general, the road was not easy, and it really spoiled the first impression.
When we got there after 2 hours bus ride to Alanya. Finally, we sighed, we were glad that we would rest from the road. But it's not so simple. Check-in to their rooms from 2 pm. And we arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning. Not only were we not even temporarily sheltered anywhere, they also did not explain and did not welcome us with open arms. Our climate at that time was different, we were after the road, we want to change clothes and wash ourselves.
But we are told that check-in is only at 2 o'clock and do what you want. Of course, the tour operator kept silent about this. Fortunately, the Timo hotel is still 5 * and we were still allowed to leave our bags and change clothes in the sauna locker room.
Having changed, tired at the end, we headed to the beach, we wanted to see the sea. Having calmed down a bit, we wandered around the hotel for a long time.
Then we ate and finally, OH GOD, settled in. I have no complaints about the room, everything is clean, tidy, a balcony, a large bed, a TV, a working air conditioner and a mini-bar full of water, and free of charge. It pleased. There were no more complaints.
The next day we fell for Pegasus' second bait. General meeting and sale of excursions. We, having examined the beach, realized that we would be bored here for a week, we scored as many as 4 of them. Two on the yacht, no complaints. But the shopping tour and pamukkale is just awful. The shopping tour turned out to be a very expensive pleasure for us, and the owner of all the shops turned out to be the same as the hotel.
We didn't like it. Then we went to the pamukkale travertines, it’s just a quiet horror, the heat, to go far, we left at night, before arriving, it suddenly turned out that it was forbidden to swim there since 1995, that’s how they divorced us. Then, in the heat, we walked for a long time to some park, there was a Cleopatra's pool in it, which turned out to be, well, just a green leghutnik. We could not bear it, went sat on a bench and stupidly drank beer.
So gentlemen, never settle for pumukkale and don't even think about taking a shopping tour.
Sincerely, frog-traveler from Ulan-Ude
