Yesterday, 06/10/2015, I went to Lappeenranta with Virage. 10 minutes before the bus, I received an SMS about his change to another bus. It turned out that we were united with Orbita and some other company. The trip itself was quite in the spirit of a traditional show tour - I have no complaints. But on the Russian border, a nightmare began on the way back. A certain company of 4 people from our bus, along with a direct guide from one of the firms to which we were attached, was caught by a huge margin at customs. At first, they did not want to admit that the packages on the bus were theirs, and because of this, all passengers were forced to wait and weigh every thing. Then there was the inventory-fines-withdrawal procedure, I don’t know for sure ... Nobody explained the situation to us.
The guide of the Virage, Ella, nervously smoked and ran away from her tourists, the guide of the second company was generally involved in these frauds herself (the violators were clearly her friends or acquaintances, which all the tourists noticed). As a result, the entire bus waited 3 hours for the violators along with this so-called guide. Stuff like this should just be kicked out. I strongly recommend Virazh travel agency not to join tours with dubious companies in order to save your reputation and the nerves of tourists. No one understood why on earth these violators were not left to deal with customs. tourists are not obliged to wait for violators, and Virazh travel agency should take into account that the interests of scammers cannot exceed 50 people on the bus, who, as a result, missed the metro and spent money on a taxi. As a result - a spoiled evening and the most terrible impressions from the company. Representatives, having all the phones, could at least apologize to tourists, not to mention compensation.
We did not get into traffic jams or queues, but simply into the connivance of guides and poor organization.
